Moving on's version is pretty awful, I dont even see how it would fit

Grimsby used to sing the exact same version as Liverpool, but with "Grimsby aggro" at the end.

Loads of teams had/have a version, but moving on's is not good.

There's one thing for sure, i wont sing anything that encourages hate towards another team, or calling their town a sh8thole, anything banterish, any mickey take yes, but out and out hatred has no place in Rugby league, if they want to do it, let them.
I saw a dad joyfully singing along with his 10 year old son, words of hatred and similar and waving two fingers to the Widnes lot, pretty distasteful to witness.

I think there can be doubt about 'bragging rights' for the composers of various chants.

For the record, there are two United versions of "Bertie Mee". The one currently 'sung' which is distasteful as it has Sir Matt swearing and the original [uearly[/u 70's version (predating your Kop claim) which referred to Bertie Mee said to Don Revie

Not a big fan of the song, although would like to hear the 'Cheshire rules the country' version at the HJ just for the comedy value.

RAOTL went into overdrive with that PAOK tune in early 2007 and various versions were written before the one that became Campione was settled on.

It's universally regarded as rubbish on the same forum now.

In all honesty I can't think of a single song I read on the internet initially and still think is good, and there's been a few.
