The RFL has confirmed that the Magic Weekend will stay at the Etihad for the next two years, with the next pow wow taking place on the May bank holiday weekend (25/26 May 2013). Rumour on the grape vine is that we will be playing St Helens.

I couldn't go last year due to exams, so I am already looking forwards to next year as it seemed a good day was had by all. Hopefully we will get the weather again!

Fixtures have been completed just not officially announced. Some of fixtures will be posted on Wire website Friday and rest on 19th Nov.

Wigan away second game and KR/FC away back to back in rouonds 4 and 5.

He teased the fixtures out of Nigel Wood through pastry based product bribery.

The schedule has changed, it was apparently put out wrong first time. The only change is that Catalan vs London is first on the Saturday, and Salford vs Widnes is first on the Sunday now.

After having teams that we beat easily Salford, Widnes or teams that we have no big rivalry with Hull KR, Huddersfield at Magic Weekends it's fantastic that Wire vs Saints is on, and as the last game on Saturday.

I've thought for a few years that Magic Weekend needed a mix up of the big matches, and for us to be on later in the day due to the numbers we take plus we tend to watch more than just our match.

Agreed, the numbers inside the stadium and the atmosphere should both be really good for both the Hull game and our game.

The only thing that we'll have to contend with is the Champions League Final, I've seen a few people mention that it clashes with our game against yourselves at MM.

It'll be interesting to see if/how it effects the crowds/viewing figures, but I suppose that's dependant on who is in the final.

On a side note isn't 'Manchester magic' a contradiction of terms?
