It depends how we approach it. If we play the likes of Watts, Clarke, Briscoe, Moore, Isa etc i cant see your "Reserves" beating us. As for that certain player i think you've been fed a load of crap.

Four times we will meet before the end of the season. Id hope to see a traditional full strength Warrington and Widnes go at each other, bearing in mind it would be a 50 point hammering of Widnes. Still it would give the fans some excitement over Christmas.

Not a hope in hell of a full strength Wire side over Christmas. It'll probably get the usual build up followed by a heavy snow fall and no game.

I don't for a second think this will be the team but it would be strong given no internationals....

Actually just seen on the Warrington Guardian website that the starting 13 is pretty much that. McCarthy in second row and Blythe to three quarters for Hellewell.

£13 to see the Wires on a nothing happening Boxing Day is fine by me, too many people still have the small club mentality.

If people want to pay a couple of Quid to see a game go and watch Crosfields etc etc.

Its too light-weight for that. Plenty of skill and guile not much power though. A hardened super-league forward would knock that side about a bit I think.

totally agree stopped going to friendlies years ago...the price they charge nowadays is ridiculous..a realistic price would be £8...
