What a try from Rangi Chase, total class. He realised that if he passed the ball to the supporting player on the inside that he would be caught so he threw his second dummy of the break and scored one of the best solo tries of the season, 2 dmmies and beating Brent Webb into the corner.

I have never seen a player throw as many forward passes as Brent Webb, that one must have been two yards forward.

I think he's incapable of passing the ball backwards. He's been doing it all year. It's good to see the TJs actually calling some forwards passes for once.

Agreed. It's a good job yesterday's game was decent because this was a terrible advert for Rugby League.

Rangi Chase's try was sensational and the only highlight of the game.

But even then he missed a simple drop goal, and this lack of basic skill is shocking for top level half backs. On the other side you have the likes of Burrow and McGuire who's passing and decision making is abysmal. How either of them have played so many internationals whilst Briers has been left out is beyond me.

Goons will be pretty confident but Leeds will focus everything on to this, strange things happen in finals not many thought we would blow them away last year as we had already lost to Leeds twice in the season, Leeds seemed to raise there game against the goons this season.

McGoldrick got the ball not the man. McGuire went down like he'd been shot in the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan.

I agree. Wasn't a classic by any means, but nor was yesterday's game. Nevertheless, both games were good contests to watch. I don't get all this "it's a poor advert for rugby league" garbage. It's not an advert, it's a game, a semi-final at that. So what if someone from Norwich or Basingstoke or Durham turned over to watch something else. It's not basketball, and not every game which happens to be on telly can be a 34-32 end-to-end thriller.

Never a penalty, that said had he not given it, I think Leeds would've just picked up the loose ball and scored although saying that, it was Weller Hauraki who was there to swoop/make a hash of it.
