Out for the season by all accounts.... shame for the big man.....that could well be the end of his career in top flight rugby.

It's also a shame because i was looking forward to us targeting him on friday.

Joking aside though.... he was a fantastic player for a very long time... you don't get many Keith Seniors to the pound.

Jamie Lyon came and lit the comp on fire, I know. Gleeson has had his moments. As has Yeaman. But In terms of consistency, longevity and impact, this guy is the best centre of the SL era. Easily.

This long term injury also cocks up what I believe has been a relatively injury-free career too?

2005 was his only bad injury when big joe sat on his ankle!!

When we played Leeds it said something about Senior being 1 of only 3 players to play in every season of SL :s Im sure of it

Tony Martin hasn't played in each SL season has he? Sure he went to NZ Warriors for 2 or 3 years maybe more.

Senior is the only guy who has been in every Super League season. Morley and Martin had spells where they were in the NRL.

Nick Fozzard is the anomaly, he's been around for a long time but he missed the full 2001 season and I think he didn't play a first team SL game in 1997.

I agree with the earlier posts though he has been a credit to RL, superb pro who I would have loved to have had at Warrington. He's been the best power centre of his type by far in the league. Atkins shows flashes at times of being Senior like.

Paul Johnson?

Paul Johnson played 1 game for Wigan in SL 1. I would imagine that he's possibly played every season, although something in the back of my mind says that he had a full year out at one stage though.

Think Terry Newton was the 3rd player to have played in each SL season up to last year. Played as a 16 year old for Leeds in 1996.
