Myler not making the England squad, thoughts?

Didnt deserve to, ive no doubt he can get to that level but right now he isnt good enough.

No suprise at all. We paid £200K for a player that we drop for the big games. There's no way that would lead to an international place.

I don't like the word 'dropped' Just because he wasn't selected for certain games doesn't mean he was dropped. We are just not used to a coach who works with a squad of players and sets teams up according to the opposition.

Myler's time will come.

Im sorry but Myler wouldnt have made any differance to the team we have. Were deffinately not more likely to win if he was in the team.

I'm surprised at that. I always put club before country. Bit like with the premiership England supporters.

I'm certain most of my mates would swap their club side winning the premiership for us winning the world cup. I know I would (although supporting Blackpool, I feel i'm fairly safe in saying that).

Assuming you support England as well, I would say the odds are about the same. Blackpool might be in an inflated position at the moment in 9th but I would say Blackpool were somewhere between 15th-20th best club side in the country, which is probably about where England are in the international pecking order.

Couldn't agree more. A WC win would mean more to me and the game over here than my own team winning anything.

Strange - I'm sure I saw Micky Higham wearing a kit on the Wembley pitch & Richie Myler wearing a suit. Must have been my eyes deceiving me. Same eyes that were deceived in the play-off match v Shuddersfield when Higham came off the bench to spark our revival a bit while Richie watched from the stands along with his "ankle injury"...
