It'll be interesting to see what the crowd is for next week. Tonight was only an outside possibility of being the last ever home game. It was a bit of an anti climax at times, because you knew if they did their jobs we'd all be back the following week against Warrington.

This is perhaps the most pathetically childish post anybody could ever make about a clubs' attendances, you'll have to forgive me for asking you the very same pair of questions about each of the major finals (and there have been a lot of them) saints have been involved with over the past 15 years.

I think you'll find a similar disparity between the numbers attending a final, and those who attend every week.

V Castleford was NEVER going to be the last home game. Finishing top 4 meant Saint were guaranteed ONE home tie in the playoff. If Wolves win in round 1 there last home game will be in Round 2. If Saints win in round 1 the last home game will be in round 3.

One reason is.....you've had your best season in quite some time, while ours has been average.
