This game just shows that we cant take the semi finals for granted!! I myself have been going on about Wembley as if we're already there!! Tonight just shows i'm wrong!!

I think this game makes it certain that we will we very fired up for the semi-final. Probably a good thing for the cup, but not very helpful as far as the league goes.

Defo better to get this result today than in 2 weeks. Not that I think TS would let it happen but this should stop any 'easy win' thoughts creeping into the Warrington players' minds. Shouldn't have dropped the ball tonight (literally) but hey ho move on. Next.

The heat affected us tonight by the sound of commentary so we should still win in 2 weeks but like ive said for a number of weeks when people have ruled them out now they have two half backs they will start to play better sherwin and bosc sounded dangerous tonight. The fact that the Catalans players took on your feared pack and matched then should definitely be a wake up call. I fully expect TS to try a few party pieces in the Semi but tonight will have confirmed to the French that they can match it with you and come out on top of the "we'll score more than you" game.

You have to remember; French and Rooney were commentating. French is 71 and Rooney must be around that age aswell. They are obviously going to comment on the weather as old people don't like the heat.

And as "el red" said, the weather has been like that over here for the last few months and no-one has batted an eyelid about it.

I seriously think Catalans could beat you in the Semi, their game next week pretty much means nothing to them, which means they can relax a bit and afford to rest players if needed, whereas you guys have Saints in a game that could decide 2nd.

So glad that I've always stuck to the principal of "dont buy your ticket until we are there as catalans ARE a good side and can take on anyone in a "one-off" game".

Nobody can consider any game "safe". Last night showed it, us v Wigan showed it, Saints @ Wigan, Wigan @ Saints.

We have to be consistent over the remember of the season to get to where we want to be. Catalans can effectively pick their games. Last night was to get the psycological edge on their CC opponents. The semi will be for Wembley.

This time last year we were in the same positions (effectively surrendered a shot at the play-offs to go for the cup).

No way are we shoe ins for Wembley - I am sure that TS is well aware of this. Yesterday was not given the usual Smith meticulous preparation - the players were given 3 days holiday at the start of the week, plus we pulled Louis, King and Wood. Suspect that TS has bigger things in store for us.

By the way - I am a Spurs fan. We thought that the Portsmouth FA Cup semi was a minor inconvenience en route to meeting Chelsea in the final - we lost to the bottom club

thing is, we know this, and aside from them being slightly more favourable than the other participants in the semi, no one on here has said or assumed it's a given we're at wembley despite what some of your less worthy brethren have delighted in parading to us.

That said there's nothing wrong with a discussion about forward planning and preperation in advance, if there is the rfl and wembley stadium management must be arrogant having already pencilled in and allocated ends at wembley to give potential finalists an idea of where they will be sitting.

Personally I'm not, Warrington had Wood, Louis and King missing against Catalan, played badly and still only just got turned over. I think it was hard to get first place and second should, hopefully still be ours. The cup semi will be interesting to see how the Catalan's approach it but I am still confident of getting to Wembley.

Last nights game could have done Wire alot of good. If there were any thoughts of them already being at Wembley, im sure they've all gone now. I reackon you'll beat them in the semi, but it just might be harder than many on here seemed to believe.

Warrington will win the semi-final comfortably.

Last night would of been a good lesson for us to see Catalans strengths and weaknesses. I still think we will beat them in the SEMI, as a previous poster said we were terrible defencely and lacked ideas, but still only lost by a point. As Micky Higham as said for the SEMI we're as good as at home, what with 9k being sold already and 100 or less Catalans there. I think we'll beat them. The test for me is, to beat Saints next week, if we beat Saints IMHO that is the sign that we have title winning credentials. After a disappointing loss against Catalans then if we beat Saints after spirits porbabaly being low all week, that will be a huge result IMHO.
