he's back from his Quins loan then. Was wondering why he wasn't in the squad.

Unless he can as prop, there is no place for him.

Thought he was staying until the end of the season? Pointless putting him in U20s

So, how did he do tonight?

i saw the last 30 minutes and he didnt really have anything to do they tried to kick and chase for him on a couple of occasions but didnt get the bounce of the ball, cleaned up and kicks salford put in behind and tried to support and breaks made. Thinks its hard for him comin into the under 20's as they have there set play and with him not being in the under 20's for a while he wont be part of the plays

He was only on loan on a month to month basis not season long.

Heard a rumour that he is off to Wakey next season on a 2 year deal - pity if its true as I always thought he had a future with us

Kev stood out tonight. I think it was those bright yellow boots that did it.

He was very quiet as was Rhys Evans.

As a Quins fan i hope is this just a rumour. Because if your club didnt want him at the end of the season we would love to have back here. He was local radio down here as saying he liked it down here in the big smoke and was enjoying playing his rugby here at the Quins.
One other simple reason that would like to have him back is, that when he was in the team for once we had our HB's willing to throw the ball out to the wing. also you noticed on kick returns that defences hung back just a little to see where he was off to before closing him down, which lead to more then once giving him or another player a chance of a half break.

So if anyone knows him or his dad tell them to forget boring Wakey and come back down south,where your yellow boots matched the away kit so well.

Seems strange to me that here we have a winger that has been extremely popular and successful at both his loan clubs (Widnes and Quins) and if a recent poll on this forum is to be believed, the majority of wolves supporters - and yet we're trying to get rid.

Is there no place in our team for a showman, an entertainer - do we not go to be entertained or is it simply a case of win at all costs?

Would Brian Bevan also be an unwanted reject by todays standards?

These days wingers are bomb-diffusers and little else. Few remember who scored 25 tries in a season, but if they ever knocked on a high kick or missed a tackle they're pilloried. It's a shame.

Bevan was rejected by Leeds before playing for Warrington.

Perhaps the level of Widnes and Quinns is his level, we though aspire to be at the top level which isn't a level that Penny can play at !
If TS deems him surplus to requirements his judgement is far better than anyone elses on this forum
