can any fans who went to the game today give me there impressions of how featherstone played and in particular Jesse Joe Parker who has been brought over to play in the UK by Stanley Gene,i know he scored 2 tries today and he has scored at least one in nearly every game he has played for featherstone,just wondered if you guys think he could make a super league player.....thanks in advance

i thought he piayed well ,all the team did, best player was the number 6, was it briggs?

Both of his tries were from spilt crossfield kicks close to our own line. He did show good strengh to get over the line and score them though.

nippy and good step aswell, looked a better team when he was on pitch, how old is he btw?

Jessie Joe is 25, Kyle Briggs is about 21/22 I think

Featherston no 9 caused us some problems, played some good open rugby and caused us problems at times, goo d effort

That Briggs looks a top stand off, and he is only 21/22,

i'll be very suprised if a super league club doesn't snap him up, looks very good and good goal kicker.

Just got home we loved it today, i think it took Rovers 15 mins to get used to the extra pace and in that time we were 16-0 down and game over. We did well after that tho,good luck in future, the pubs around your ground are excellent and everyone was friendly, great day

Really enjoyed the atmosphere today it made a nice change having mixed supporters with the accompanying banter just like the good old days of RL apart from the beer throwing which probably wouldn't have happened if the culprits were sober...no harm done! Who is the very noisy woman in your ranks ? She was stood next to me & for a few minutes at the end of the match i thought i had gone deaf.
Thought Fev played very well today& showed why they are top of their division & imo they showed the Wire a thing or two about effort today.Good luck for the rest of the season!!

Bring some passing fluency to their very well structured kicking game and I can see Fev winning NL1 at a canter.

Thought Featherstone were superb today - slowed the game down and looked dangerous with the ball in hand. I also thought their kicking game was good (except the kick in the first minute that went out on the full). Thought they also made the most out of the referee today - a super league ref would have punished them nearly every set of 6 for lying on - shame the ref didn't get a grip of the game early on.

I was expecting them to collapse with tiredness later in the 2nd half but they kept going and probably finished the stronger of the two.

Bit of a shame about the odd beer throwing incident and the group of fans arguing with the bouncers/stewards for the first 15 mintues but I guess that was because of the alcohol and it didn't really cause any problem.

As for the Warrington performance - poor is all you can say - hopefully this was just because they were taking it easy. Thought Chris Riley and Solomona were out stand out players.

Some very interesting comments regarding the referee on the Warrington Guardian website. How come it was Hicks and not Thaler as initially scheduled? I thought this may have been due to Thaler being transferred to cover Hudds-Hull KR to prevent Silverwood doing two games over the weekend following Gansons injury but obviously not.

It looks like Smith isn't happy with coaches talking to referees at half-time and then being awarded a bag full of penalties in second half.

Thought Fev acquitted themselves very well - certainly on that performance wouldn't have looked out of place as a SL fixture. People can argue all they like about missing players but Wire were certainly guilty of thinking it was going to be easy after racing to 16-0. We took foot off gas for long periods & allowed them to show what they are capable of and while an upset was never really on the cards it was certainly a lot better intensity wise than last year.

I can assure the left centre for Fev that Moz doesn't normally defend in the 3/4 line - I bet he still doesn't know what hit him after being cleaned out in the 2nd half!

Fantastic day just wanted to say thanks your fans are friendly and I only hope that we Fev can keep playing as we did yesterday good luck in the next round it would br great to say we got knocked out by the challenge cup winners for the second year running
