| If wonder if anyone else watching the game between Castleford and Warrington, either live or on Sky, noticed Adrian Morley's cynical, dangerous high tackle in the second half.
I'm left wondering:
(1) How the touch judge didn't spot this infringement; and
(2) Whether the time has come to allow video referees to alert referees on the field to blatant fouls, such as this, which they've not seen
As someone who's squirmed at having to watch Adrian Morley's dangerous play over the years, I also wonder if there's any way he can be taken off the rugby field once and for all, given that he's a proven, seriously dangerous player.
How can he possibly be allowed to captain a Super League side, given his outrageous behaviour on the field?
Is there anyone who thinks Adrian Morley's dirty play is defensible?

| To be fair it was the video ref that gave the penalty.
Both touch judges and an inapt thaler missed the attack on sherwins head by morley.
Not sure what would have happened if hudson had not gone over the try line.
Morley would have got away with it with no penalty to cas.

| He should cop a one match ban for that IMO, but I wouldn't go filing him in the Terry Newton category of malicious thugs.

| Moz isn`t a dirty player by any means, its just he`s 100% committed and occasionally mistimes a tackle like a lot of players do but with the effort and force that Moz puts into a tackle then the outcome will never be pretty if he gets it wrong, their was no malice in it whatsoever.

This post made me chuckle.
Can you recall Morley's last act of "outrageous behaviour" before tonight?
His discipline was exemplary last year and most actual RL fans backed him to win Man of Steel.
To use one of your pathetic comments in quote - rather than Morley be "taken off the field once and for all", Could you not pick up and pi$$ off instead?

| From a Warrington point of view, he was commited to the tackle, Moz had him lined up from the minute the line was set. He caught Shirwin, but the lad his a couple of foot shorter. Was is reported?
I expect him to get a 1 match ban, along with Carvell.
Step up Coops and Macca.

He had him lined up but still swung the arm and hit him high, he may have been commited but was still a bad challenge. Shewin might be shorrter but its no excuse you just have to aim lower.
Didnt see much in Carvells as he didnt raise the arm the tackler went in too low.

| We need to get hold of whatever the Cas physio uses on injured players. Sherwin's recovery from flat out prone to fully-fit in two seconds once Thaler had gone to the video-ref was up their with Jesus' laying of hands.
Having watched it back on vidoe I reckon he hit his back and player play-acted (see above for evidence in support)

| Morley had another fully committed game as usual, but actually went a little too far. Justs tepped over the line for me and gave away a couple of silly pens and the 2nd half hit wasn't good.
Having said that, Morley isn't a dirty player by any stretch of the imagination.
If cited (was he?) he may get a fine but a don't think a ban is warranted.
Carvell isn't dirty either. He's just one big unit, but I didn't like the 'forearm' clash. Don't think it was deliberate but very poor technique.
His 'hit' later on in the 2nd (?) half was tremedous.

I happen to be a fan of rugby league, and Quins RL is my nearest team. I certainly don't come from Yorkshire.
Having replayed this particular incident several times, Adrian Morley's late swinging arm still looks like an especially cynical, dangerous foul to me.
It's good to know that some Wolves fans do take an objective, rather than a partisan, view of this late tackle by Adrian Morley.
Now, as someone advised me to do, I'll "xxxx off" and leave you in peace.
