With Carmont being out of contract with Wigan at the end of the season would it be worth us getting him,we are desperate for Centres and will have cap/quota space for him,For me Bridge isn't the answer !

The way he is playing at the moment I can't see Wigan letting him go.

How about get Carmont in instead of King.

The Wigan fans did tell us 2 years ago they were getting the better deal.

It's inevitable that Carmont is better value when we are paying King £125k a month.

Defence ,along with the fact he is very lazy and not as effective as having a world class centre in his place,I wouldn't even class him as one of the top 10 centres in Sl so why should we have him in our team as a 1st choice anything ,he is at best a back up player and would do well in NL 1 ,but nowhere near good enough for a team who hopes to win anything unless your happy being a nearly man

His defence is very strong,how is he lazy and not as effective as others?, i'm sure you have points to back up your argument? He's elussive, strong, quick runner, has the ability to put his winger away and also has an above average kicking game for a centre,

Bridge ticks a lot of boxes if you assess his all-round game doesn't he? Although, I thought with all his dropped ball yesterday it was arguably one of his worser games recently.

Only seems like six weeks ago he was praised to the heavens for his performance at Hull KR in the cup, oh wait, it was six weeks ago, since then he's pretty much played covering the halves.

We don't have any centre problems imo, King has come on leaps and bounds even though he's not quite the finished article we all saw in Australia. Bridge is good enough to play centre, quick feet, strong runner and put's in some great balls for his winger to score, the one problem with Bridge is that it could be said he sometimes try's to hard and that's when the knock-on's and frustration start to creep into his game.

Instead of signing more players i would like to see a few young lads given the chance in centre next year and to gain some experience for when the like's of King do eventually leave us.

how anyone can criticise kings form at centre since smiths arrival is beyond me,they would be better served opening their eyes when attending rugby matches,he is without doubt one of the best centres in super league,i would put him in the top three alongside gidley and shenton for overall play in that position.

Bridge has done enough at No 3 this season to earn his place. As I've said before, money is limited for all clubs and no-one can afford 'world class' players in every position. we need strengthening more in other positions.

We'd only be looking at offering him a one year extension i'd imagine and maybe the situation that happened with Long and Gilmour at Saints could happen with Carmont at Wigan if like them he's looking for a longer deal.

He's had his injury problems this year which has been a problem but when he's fit and the big games come along he's all class.

I may be wrong but i'm sure we have an option to keep Carmont for another year.

It looks like we'll either keep him or Bailey, imo it has to be Carmont he's one of the top couple of centres in the league and we have an abundance of good second rowers.

SPIRIT OF 74, what game's are you watching ? From what I saw he's doing very well, goal kicking was almost perfect yesterday, 2 goals from the touch line throught the sticks. As for Lazy ? Made me wonder how he got that try for the 50m line. Unlike some of our player's he doesn't just slide off the tackles. Jesus lay off the poot guy.

Bridge has been quality at centre this year. How you can go from recommending Carmont, to criticizing somebody for standards is beyond me.

Carmont is decent, but if we're looking for a replacement for Gleeson, then surely it would be better signing a right centre and somebody who would actually be an improvement on Gleeson?
