From a fully fit 21 I guess Butler, Darbyshire, Davis and Longstaff to miss out. Longstaff can count himself unlucky, but he isn't big enough to be playing in the middle to solve our problems.

Yeh will pretty much be that, Magoulias deffo a bench spot would nor see him starting for his first game, unfortunately Hughes is still in the squad.

No Mulhern so that gives Butler a chance at bench spot also and what of Longstaff can’t keep putting in the 21 and not playing him.

I think Hughes will probably play interchange front row with philbin/ butler, longstaff and currie 2nd row and J Clark starting 13 with magoulias off the bench. I really hope darryl Clark is fit.

Front row is a massive problem for us, cooper is class, bullock has looked good so far but after that it's underwhelming. We need the old Philbin back.

Yeah i'd go with Cooper & Philbin starting, with Butler and Hughes as interchanges at prop. Butler showed he can handle his own in Super league with London so hopefully can get back to form. And Hughes is actually suited at prop more than anywhere else. As he doesn't need to pass much and drive the ball up. He played ok at prop the first time and wasn't any worse than Mulhern has been. Now this isn't me saying he will be great but he would be steady.
Magoulias i think should take a bench spot, even just a 15-20min spell to get som match fitness, as we play them again the week after so is an ideal time.

I have real concerns about Daryl C.
Last year he played far too much of the year partially injured - actually a number of injuries (any one of which could have ruled him out, but to have them all....)
He took a knock last week that I think was worse than has been noted by many.
Unless he is fully recovered - and I'd go as far as to say he can't be (with no real knowledge) - I'd play Walker and use maybe Davis as back up.
I know hooker is a key position but it doesn't sit right with me to play Daryl.
Player welfare is more than just 'head injuries'.

I wouldn't underestimate Wakefield. They caused us a lot of problems and made several clean breaks. With better finishing they would have ended up with three or four tries. Should be a decent game.

Let's see if both teams are able to give Ch4 a game that ends with each team having 13 players on the pitch (well at least for the first 40 mins would be a good start) !
