We need another starting prop, a loose forward and two props on the bench. That is presumably Kasiano, Dudson, Philbin and McGuire.

I'd go Thewlis and Matautia at 2 and 3 with Minikin and one of the young forwards on the bench. I'm assuming no Clark, but obviously if he's fit he comes in and either Minikin or young forward misses out.

Clark confirmed out by powell. He could be back for saints, it’s a big loss but massive chance for Walker over these next three games.

I think Russell (if fit) would get the nod over Thewlis.
Whatever we do I do like having one player as a sub. who can play in the backs.

Agreed although I’d prefer it to be a centre who can also cover wing than a winger/full back like today although it turned out to be an inspired choice given Russell’s injury.

Daryl Powell would be a brave man to tell mcguire he's not playing next week after he's been sat watching for 7 games!!

I understand the context of this but his absence was self-inflicted and he has to understand that we need him on the field not in the stands.

Would be tough to take Minikin out after today, best game in a Warrington shirt by a long way. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the starting line up stay the same (Russell for Thewlis aside) and Powell make McGuire stew on the sidelines for 20/30 minutes. McGuire, Kasiano, Dudson and Philbin on the bench, Matatia start 13 but can play across the field to his credit.

I hope there aren't kids as a consequence of this intimacy!

McGuire got a knock at training last week and is touch and go for Saturday.

I’m sceptical of us having McGuire.
We are 7/7 and risk losing games through indiscipline.
If we go down to 12, even for just 10 mins v Cats Pies and/or Saints. We’ll get beaten.

We’ve been good so far with our discipline. Keeping 13 on the pitch is a big part of our lob sided scores.

Anyone else a bit disappointed in Dudson yesterday. Seemed to go down way to easy.

Mikaele is going to be a substantial loss imo and Bullock is the closest we're going to get to replacing the forward drive he gained.

I'm hoping though that Mcguire will provide some go forward to compensate and the oncoming Kasiano will boost our chances of dominating the opposition forwards.

An added bonus with McGuire is that he can play hooker and has done a decent job playing there in the past.

This would help Danny Walker to share the role during the game, until Clark`s return from injury.

Agree with Karetaker on team selection except if Russell is fit I'd chose him.

I want a solid performance from Maguire - keep him mouth shut - except for organizing or calling for the ball - keep his cool and his tackles below the shoulder.

It'll be jntereesting to see how good the Cats pack are - they used to have a huge pack but I'm not sure that's the case now.
Bousquet is an experienced prop and McMeekan has now played there a few times and it's where McNamara sees his future. Obviously Chan is decent but I get the feeling they may not have replaced Kasiano and Dudson adequately. We'll see.

They signed Taukeiaho but he's injured, I think.
