They'll not rush until Roosters and Pies sort out what their plans are plus Catalan and Pies Neu Camp fixture is in place.

Fixtures usually announced around now, so I emailed the RFL asking when we should expect an announcement this time around. They replied;

“At the moment there is still no official date when the Fixtures will be released. However,
it should be within the next 2 weeks probably after the last International game.”

That will only be a first draft from the RFL, which will be amended, without much notice, to suit the agenda of TV scheduling, and to annoy people booking time off work and accommodation.

It's been like that for years now. Get over it.

I don't like Chris Evans in the slightest. However, there is one quote he made on the radio once that I completely agreed with.

When did I state that I booked time off work or accommodation, but some do on here. Personally, not bothered, just stating the obvious.

I don't, haven't done for many years due to Sky.

Same. Ever since my Vodafone account came with Mobile Sky which I cast to my TV both season ticket and SKY subscription have gone out of the window. I'll turn up to the attractive games but my days stood on the terraces bored are over.

Can’t change the fact that Kevin Brown plays for us, yet there’s enough of us constantly moaning about it.

I dont know which games are classed as attractive these days. Even the so called glamour fixtures are dull, with little atmosphere and even less talent on display.

I guess its being so cheerful that keeps us going.

I miss the Sunday games, i know people seem to like the Friday Saturdays but Sundays were awesome. Don't do sod all on a Sunday so getting out to meet up with mates then go the match, Loved Sundays

I think the Sunday games were great. I'd guess that Tony Smith didn't relish playing Sunday and then Thursday on Sky. He was very keen on his rest periods. When Sky started moving fixtures to Thursday (at late notice) it was perhaps too much for him. If I was taking kids to a match I'd much prefer an afternoon match.

Sundays are awful. sunday is the day for doing your odd jobs, garden etc. you end up having a pint, getting a taste for it then have to go home as it's work in the morning.

Friday night all the way. Finish work, home and a quick bite to eat, changed and straight to the pub. can have a good session, watch the match, good craic with your mates and then you've got the weekend to yourself.

Maybe a mixture of Friday/Sat/Sunday is what is required. There is more to it than just turn around times.
