Hill grade B reckless challenge (shoulder) EGP availble, so will get 1 match ban. Westerman is also charged a grade A he as an EGP so will just get a fine. For me Hill as been a penalty machine this season.

As a Leigh fan I would say Hill has carried your team for the last 5 years, if your not happy with him right now Im sure every other SL team would take him off your hands. I would think his tackle to penalty ratio is quite low seeing that he has been your top tackler for the last 2 or 3 years. Send him back home to Leigh Im sure we could find him a place.

Nope cant see in my post were i said im not happy with him, just this season more than all the other seasons he as picked up a lot of penalities, time was i always was afraid of Westwood being anywheŕe near a last tackle, just feels like Hill as taken that role on now.

He doesn't seem to be handling the leadership role very well. He's become very petulant this season, picking several scuffles almost exclusively with the smallest or youngest players on the other side. Was it a halfback he got pinged for in this example as well?

Yeah he's done that ONCE. He is, however, clearly frustrated with the shower of cack around him....as is Clark

Maybe he's just trying to lead from the front to get the team to "toughen up".

Perhaps he's picked up the wrong signals from the coach about how to go about it though?

Not a stellar year by his standards. Certainly at risk of being in 17 for England Based on form. Certainly deserves it though based on long term form.

Didn't one of the Cas players do worse & got no more than a raised eyebrow from Child ? Pity really that Hill's sending off came at a vital time for Cas's attack to take full control.

Oh i apologise for stating the obvious, thing is the player he is now is not the player he was when he came here, i get that someone earlier said about his frustrations of hiw this season is going, BUT i noticed this creaping into his game last season. My opinion for what its worth is he doesnt need this in his game, he is a class player without it.

I was quickly shot down earlier this season when I dared to question if Hilly"s selection outweighing his penalty count.

One thing nobody can argue, whether he has done it once, or every week. The yellow card and one match ban were justified, He isn't a dirty player in my books. But it wasn't a smart tackle, and was designed to throw Gale off his game/take him out.

The punishment was correct.

The consistency is the only thing, Those in Cherry and White have been doing this for years and getting away scot free.

Westwood did the same thing against Leeds and it worked - Leeds were thrown off their game, lost a player, rattled and we took advantage.

This time it cost us the game. Swings and roundabouts etc.

My problem is that a). it's cowardly and b). It was stupid on both occasions.

We need more aggression in our play but I'd rather see Cooper, Hill, Clark etc. hurting players legally in the tackle, taking the ball in with venom and targetting defensively weak players.

Westwood I expected it of, big on heart, low on IQ.

Hill I didn't, and he went down in my estimation. He made a tough assignment impossible.

There will be two teams devoid of confidence going against each other on Saturday and to predict how it will go is impossible IMO. It's a total 50/50 game. Who would have thought we'd be in this position only 8 months after playing each other in the Grand Final?!!

Difference is you have a good few players back for this game that will give confidence to the others and we've got err Brown back

I would suggest that this act was done purposely to avoid the next game and get out of the limelight. This CHilly is not the one we know and I for one believe that he is treading water this season. I know this is a controversial statement but its my view. Many of the incidents this season show me that the team as a whole are protesting in there own ways at something.

We should be asking what is happening at board level, the players will turn it around and avoid the MPG given the chance by the board, but the board have to give them the chance!!
