An already poor back line just looked like a mish mash of players low on confidence ! And you probably won't see a poorer back line in super league.! Has Tony Smith actually lost the plot or the dressing room or both?? Because some of those players are not willing to sweat blood for this club !
But the thing that pi$$ed me off more than anything is that Wigan got stuck in.. Aggressive sometimes niggly !! And we just took it all...

That's what frustrates me the most - it was very apparent that after 20 minutes, Wigan decided to relax and take it easy, as they were under no threat whatsoever. Regardless of injuries, if they had been in a more ruthless mood it could have been a hell of a lot worse.

The old your supposed to support them band out again? Cannot stand such folk - people like they, accepting mediocrity (which we can only dream of at present) help to hold the club back. The definition of a supporter or fan is someone that has an interest in a club and wants them to succeed. Put simply, given what Smith has had at his disposal, we have not succeeded for the last 4 seasons.

In answer to the first question the simple answer is yes. The return of Chris Hill and Ratchford will not suddenly make the players be able to tackle, pass and work hard - all of which they currently are unable or refuse to do. Smith's tactics (if they exist) are outdated and clearly the players refuse to play for him. Time to go.

Throw whatever money you need to at a coach that can get the best out of the players, is able to recruit well and seems to have a succession plan - just hope he is better than the last Daryl(l) we had.

What worries me about you men last night was how unaware your team seemed.

Ryan Atkins celebrated/gurned at the camera when he scored - at 20-0 down! Seriously; read a room, Ryan.

I've no issue with Atkins celebrate a try...it shows intent. Just more of the same.

the whole thing from tomkins being allowed to pick the ball up, walk around unchallenged, put an unchallenged kick in and then they nearly scored from it was shocking.

dont know what is going on at the moment but something doesnt quite feel right or look right, before the match on sky it showed the dressing room and seemed to me that Tony Smith was giving them all a right rollocking before they even went out to do the warm up? normally it is a brief reminder of game plan, where they are to attack, who are the threats etc, this looked like a complete dressing down

What puzzles me is how we can go from playing tight error free rugby for 40 mins against the Broncos, to a gameplan which saw us throwing possession away by trying to force the pass.

Fine if you're desperately chasing the game, but the error started in the first set last night, and it didn't get any better.

First thing I'd be doing this morning if I was TS is digging Ben Harrison's phone number out, apologising and telling him he's in for Leigh.

We're in for a dogfight and Ben is one lad I'd have in the trenches straight away.

I feel the same way about Grix. He has a way to go in terms of fitness but his on-field presence is worth it. Saying that, if Blythe managed to get a game after his performance at Spotland the other week, Grix certainly can!

Matty Blythe spent last night and this morning searching his name on Twitter and liking tweets about him.

If he put as much effort into playing rugby as he did searching his own name he'd be half decent.

Blythe wasn't one of the poorest players last night. He, Clark(again), Lineham, Evans when he came on, were the only players to have some credit at time's last night imo.

Not sure why your talking up Blythe so much, he has done nothing to warrant it.

Ask yourself, would he get in Cas or Wigans starting line up?!

That may well be true...,but it's also true he wasn't the worst player in our team last night.

The Blythe/Russell centre/wing combination was targeted by Wigan all night, & was woeful in defence.

The amount of tries they conceded owing to their poor positioning was embarrassing.
