| Mine would be:
Ratchford
Lineham
New centre
Toby King
Russell
Patton
Sandow
Hill
Clark
Sims
Wilde (Currie when fit)
Hughes
Westerman
Dwyer
Cooper
Dodds
Westwood
If we don't sign a new centre I would rather play Matty Blythe than Rhys Evans. Won't happen though I'm fully expecting us to start the season with the same awful centre partnership and Patton to be playing reserve games once every 3 weeks

Crosby has apparently been signed from wigan so I guess he would replace dodds in the 17.
I would also get rid of Gidley to free up cap space and sign a centre like Watkins, or a fullback like hardaker and move ratchford to centre. We cannot keep evans in the centres, absolute donkey there.

| If we moved Gidley to his shirt position, full back, we could have 2 from Ratchford, King and Atkins at centre. That would also allow us to accomodate Sandow and Patton at half back. Should address the lack of creativity in the right centre position and develop Patton further. Toby King is going to get better and better and will have lots of confidence after his recent run in the team. I'd also like to see Jack Johnson getting a few run outs as Gidley's understudy, partly to rest Gidely up.
I really hope (but don't expect) to see Ben Harrison here to bolster the pack. If he's over his injuries, adding him and Cooper ( and possibly Crosby) to the pack would allow us to release Bailey and Cox. If Dodds is also retained that is a really strong front row.
The squad doesn't need a lot for me but it was clear last night we need more dynamism and go forward.

| I have a feeling Harrison may already have left? I will be very surprised if Dwyer is here next year.
And Russell should either play fullback or be left out of the team.
We will struggle if we don't sign another second row, centre and hooker.

| 1 Gidley
2 Lineham
3 top quality Winger
4 Atkins
5 top Quality Finisher
6 Top notch out and out standoff
7 Patton (capt)
8 Hill
9 Clark
10 Cooper
11 Westwood (write Currie off for the full year im afraid)
12 Hughes
13 Westerman
Subs
Dwyer
Sims
off loading back rower ala Ben Harrison
ball playing prop forward not an Ex Wigan steady polodder
Coach: Brett Hodgson to get that decent attacking styyle of rugby that was exciting to watch. i'm sorry I'm not watching five drives and a kick next year
Sandow I dont believe the ridiculous rumours but hes been a disappointment for large parts of the season. except the first two months and they dont ccount for anything.
Ratchford i feel sorry for him we should have cashed in when Koukash thought he could win stuff.
Matty Russell I dont know how far out of position he was for Charnleys try but I dont care anymore...
Penny clearly mistreated for whatever reason he should be playing regularly for a decent superleague side
Lineham fairy tale return but his knock on led to Charnleys try that lost us the game but hes not Kevin Penny so no one says a thing.
the Kings just not yet
Philbin gone away from his initial form when I thought he had some promise.
Matty Blythe.....i like the idea of lots of Warrington lads ...maybe I can get signed up too....
largely I'm still brassed off with the way we went away from our early season form and probably shouldn't be posting on here until my displeasure has died down a touch

We were talking about Ratchford earlier and concluded he is hammered into the side at all costs like a square peg into a round hole. Not sure we need him.

| I think one of the problems with Ratchford is that Smith views him as a utility player. He needs to be somewhere creative like halves ,centre or even loose forward. Anywhere but fullback.
As for Savellio,he is best left where he is. It was for good reasons that Saints shunted him out on loan a good source tells me.

I don't understand what people have against Atkins. He mades the 2016 Dream Team scoring 17 tries this season.

| Ratchford is one of SL finest players.
I've said it more times than I wish to count.
You must always play him in a position he can get his hands on the ball.
He will play 6 when Gids and Sandow go so why feck him about?!
TS took a decision to play Gids at 6 coz of Ratchford injury. I think balance of the team might have come good had TS put them back into shirt position as soon as he returned. We got a few wins against poorer opposition and everyone thinks the team is right!

Why have we given Ben Harrison a testimonial for 2017 if he's already left?

I have been one of Ryan Atkins biggest supporters and yes for 3/4 of the season he looked back to his best.. But at the business end he has reverted to last years form.
I want to see us play with two centres who can use footwork and create space and also not have a phobia of passing to his winger.. Which Evans has had all season and Atkins has started to develop ..

Not saying he has but note he has not been around the club for a while. And Grix had a testimonial whilst not playing for us so that isn't essential.
Wait and see what happens, I rate him as a player we have missed his bulk in the pack.

If Dodds is staying, you will soon forget Harrison. Don't think people realise how much difference he would have made this year to us. His tackling one on one is awesome and he's pretty handy going forward too. Add him and Cooper in and we wont be far off sorting out the featherweight pack we have worked with all year

Can we honestly depend on the likes of Dodds and / or Harrison though? Two players who have been ravaged by injury on and off for some time now. No room for sentiment or passengers like we went into this season with. Need to hit the ground running with players who are fit and we can depend on.

Dodds injuries to his knees were well documented, however he di finish the NRL season and he GF with Brisbane at the end of 2015. His injury here was a freak break and could have happened to anyone including a player who plays week in week out. He will be fully recovered by now and ready to go for 2017.
That's if he is staying but don't see what choice he has. No nrl team will buy him until he is tested again
