I`m sorry, but i`ve lost patience now, for gods sake, "when are you going to go in to a game with a recognised winger"?? Having no pace on the wing has cost us big time this year, first a Challenge Cup Final, now for the League Leaders Shield, the fact that you wont let the paying fans know why you continually refuse to play an out and out winger , points to pigheadedness/stubbornness IMHO, but as i`ve said, its cos us Two Trophies up to now and if i`m honest , i think it`ll end up with us "Trophyless again" this season, i think we deserve some sort of explanation now and so does Simon Moran...

Smith earned some grace with his early silverware, but we are now 3x cup final losers, with a few embarrassing semi-finals to boot. We have become known for bottling big leads and not being able to cope when we lose a player. Smith has always had a stubbornness about him when it comes to who he plays, and it is really hurting us this season.

I'm not saying "SMITH OUT!" but I've reached the point where I would welcome a change. This is the most annoyed I've been at a loss since before I can remember.

I feel really sorry for Chris Hill.
He simply never has a bad game and yet far too often doesn't pick up silverware.

This thread is actually about an issue with the Warrington team, believe it or not, not everything is about Hull.

In my opinion Smith had the tactics spot on by directing paced runners at the defence behind the ruck to counteract their pack. Aside from the first 10 mins the likes of Russell and Clark running behind the markers and targeting the same spot was making us massive yards throughout the first half and early part of the second.

In all fairness to TS- Hughes, a supposedly past his best Gidley, Sandow and a certain Chris Hill have been good aquasitions.

All easy signings. If he can't get lineham to play then it's his fault. If we don't win it this year i want him gone. His persistence with shoe horning Ratchford in costs us....he was woeful tonight.

Opposition teams are hammering the King/Evans side of the field when attacking and its coming up trumps for them week in week out. Evans is a Centre and probably one of the best defensive Centres in SL, he`s wasted out on the wing and when defending, is following his natural instinct as a Centre and drifting just that little bit too far inside, leaving space out wide. Add to that he`s not got the pace of an out and out winger to enable him to give the attacker the outside an "use the touchline as his friend", (so to speak) and its just becoming an obvious weak spot for teams to exploit. How long can this continue, before something is done about it?

I expect to be xhot down, but I predict that we will not win another trophy under Smith.

That is absolutely "Spot On" and i`ve been saying it for months now! He is totally upsetting the balance of the side, by trying to simply "Shoe-Horn" players in to the starting line-up. Top class players are beginning to look ordinary because they are being forced to play out of position. Our weak spots stick out like a sore thumb and teams are exploiting it "week in week out". Its cost us two trophies up to now this season, with a third to come.

While I admit the Winger situation is a complete and utter loving shambles, the lack of prop forwards is simply gross misconduct.

Hill almost played 80 minutes tonight and in the few minutes he didn't play Frank Paul Nuisala ran up field on two massive runs and put Wigan in try scoring positions. ... our bench tonight was a massive concern to me and it let us down

However he can right off for me I've had enough of Tony Smith, Agar and also enough of Lee briers doing keepy uppys on the half way line while the team are doing pre game warm ups......its like having Bobbie Goulding on the coaching staff.

Totally agree on the forwards. Hill is not only outstanding as an individual but he does this whilst covering for the failure of others. When I see the youngsters Wilde, Philbin and King on the bench, you know we are all out of options for the pack.

Wigan may have lost finals, but you are the complete opposite to us in terms of game management. We have a knack for blowing leads, whereas you have a knack for coming back from deficits (or coming up with something to get the win in tight games). Not saying you don't have your problems, and I know there are plenty not happy with Wane.

And, as said above: you have won silverware in the last 4 years. One of which includes a piece we still haven't won by beating us from a 16 point deficit.

I disagree. You cannot mismanage when you don't manage. We didn't have enough ball to do such an error.
We were completely battered for pace on the flanks.
