Really need Evans back at centre and Penny on the wing.

If TS does this I'll be confident of a win.. If we go with Russell on the wing and King at centre then I'm sorry but i fear a very comfortable afternoon for Hull FC ..

Well as I said on an earlier thread it will be same team as last week, I fear it will be to much to soon for T.King.

I often wondered if Tyke got the nod because Rau upset TS big style a few weeks before....

TS makes big calls - he's paid to do it.

I'd go with Penny and Evans but I can't see that happening, and I hope I'm prove wrong in my prediction....

I think TS feels that the defence is better with Toby King in the Centreand Rhys Evans on the wing. I dont think he trusts Lineham or Penny in the defence department. He has said all week that the defence will win it for us.

So no Lineham?, shame how this has all turned out really. Such a talent but not applying himself properly

I get your point, but i think there is a big difference Tyke I think was more mature as a player, King is still learning.

I just think Evans is better at defence as centre than a winger, he does tend to get sucked in.

My memory may be be failing but I thought it was his 3rd game for us.
Not that really has any bearing on the T King selection though. 5 of us will be watching in Turkey all in our primrose and blue attire. Can't wait.

Wembley is shorter than the HJ in length and more importantly width.
It's a pitch of power in attack and defence.

Tries don't often come off sweeping moves in the CC final....
They generally come from busts, breaks or side steps to break the line or kicks through or over the defensive line to the wingers.

So long as our defence stays solid, FC will get beaten. Hull will be reliant on Snyde kicking game and Houghton short handling game to break us down. They have no other threat as I see it.

Didn't Tyke feature for just 15 minutes when the game was in the bag anyway ?

Fonua, Talanoa, Shaul, Watts offloads, Prichards lines?

Looking forward to a comfortable Wire win then against the side top of the table with no threats for you to worry about

Agreed but if you watch the defensive structure against Castleford in the second half, we came up with a system to "combat" that.

I think TS settled on his Wembley team , a while ago , he has a plan and he has bedded in that team in the last few matches , let's face it he knows what it takes to win at Wembley,,hopefully his plan comes off

I wonder if this team will also be the bedrock of our Old Trafford winning team as well ?
