Disagree with that. Silverwood whilst not consistent has penalised Wigan more than any other ref this year for slowing the PTB down. Bentham never does plus he doesn't keep sides a good 10 yards apart. It worked for us last week simply because Cas play a similar game to us. Would have much preferred Silverwood.

i'd quite like that lad from warrington that started this year.

not particularly because he's from warrington, but because i haven't found a reason to dislike him yet.

+1, can't remember the last time I saw a refs appointment and thought "Oh good, he's not awful".

Of all the referees Bentham is my least favourite, that said I can't bring myself to choose a favourite referee this season. Whoever was referee we would have seen some bad decisions and we need to be good on Friday no matter who was going to be in charge of the whistle. If we can play our own game we will win.

Matt Thomason, he has the Championship Grand Final on Sunday and could well have his hands full knowing how those games tend to go!

I carnt speak!!!! Wigan can bring quilts he allows them to have a sleep in the tackle.

And Wire players will be able to thump who they want without the fear of getting sent off.

I'll be driving to the game, then going straight to work after it, forgoing a much needed 4 hrs sleep. Who cares? It's Wigan in the semis...Wouldn't miss it for anything!

Watched the Cas game again last night and if Bentham is consistent and sticks to how he yellow carded Rhys, Wigan after about ten minutes should never have more than about 9 men on the park at any point in the game. In my dreams.

They all have their little nuances but for me Bentham is the worst.
Bentham allows more time than any other ref in the ruck.

Thaler has slowly become the best ref in the league, frustrating when you watch live at the ground because you think he's giving random penalties for no reason, on tv you realise he doesn't miss much and what you thought was an injustice at the time on the replay is the correct decision.

Another -poor officiating display.

I hope the RFL aren't desperate for a Wigan v saints final as part 1 of their plan was disgusting to watch tonight. We stand no chance if we have Bentham to contend with as well, I am fearing the worst.
