Think the council may still own the ground. It may have to be a collaboration with the club.

Not been to Wilderspool since the official last game V Wakefield in September 2003. It's mad that it's still been in use for over a decade since then.

People I know from outside Warrington always react in disbelief when I tell them it is still in use, I think most RL fans presumed the bulldozers moved in straight away like they did at Knowsley Road etc. Stranger still when you consider the boom in the property market at the time.

Got my tickets yesterday. Going to have a walk round after the match and try and take more memories home with me. Will be emotional to say the least.

I did that after the Wakefield game in 2003. I wanted to be the last person in the ground. Unfortunately so did about 500 other people, so after an hour I gave up and resumed my usual post match occupation. What's happening to the old lady? Houses?
