| Is anybody seeing it as I?
Is Rangi Chase offering very little?
Would England be better had Widdup started at hb?

| I was thinking exactly the same thing. Might as well start Widdop and have Burrow on the bench.

| England have looked so much better in attack & defence when Hill & Westwood have been on the pitch . Maybe the inclusion of Burrow could have made a difference too, but fair play to the lads who played today ,good performance .

| I was thinking the same. I haven't seen him have a big game for England yet. can't fault his attacking ability in the SL which he has proved at Cas. who else could or should we have in there burrow, brough or myler? England gave it a good go today and did better than I expected but still areas to work on. Impressed with the Burgess brothers and Hill. Defensively I thought our wingers were drawn in causing gaps.

| Chase looked out of his depth.... If Koukash thought he had signed a top scrum half, then after today he might just think he's been duped.
England did ok overall, but unfortunately with Sinfield and Chase as your half backs then you aren't going to create enough pressure to worry the top sides - I can't see what Chase offers over either Ratchford or Matty Smith.

| no running at the aussies from either half back at all...very poor. We matched them in the forwards no problem, but in the halves and in the three quarters the aussies were much much stronger.
Sinfield is just not quick enough at this level and Chase is well out of his depth and offers nothing at all IMO. Start with Widdop!

| Chase was ok for me, but burrow should have been in for widdop. George Burgess was immense and Hill was not far behind. Sam won't play next week - he should have gone. Oloughlin will be back next game. I predicted a10 point loss. Not bad overall but the usual story, too much droped ball and pens. Cut them out and three a chance.

Not sure what game you was watching - Chase was impotent, almost like a boy playing in a man's game.... He simply doesn't have the game for top level Rugby League - He was the shining example of the difference between the Aussie and British domestic games. The Aussie half backs were creative and constantly buzzing around, ours were pedestrian and one dimensional.... We matched them in most other areas, but at half back there was a massive quality gap.

| Chase was disnterested from the anthem to the final whistle. Disgrace.
Mossop should be dropped after that pitiful effort as well.
On the positive side, Watkins dealt with Inglis well, Hall is a threat and the forwards (well the starting pack anyway) were good.
Now if only McBanana would stop thinking Sinfield can play a pivot role and we would stand a chance...
PS Italy showed how having NRL players will win you any game... And how good is Guerra?

| Said exactly the same at the game. Chase offered nothing at all during that game, would have been much better with either Widdop or Burrow.
On a side note, good to see Roby back.

| Pretty much agree with what's been said
Chase, bar a couple of passes, he could have been the Invisible Man's stunt double. Totally anonymous.
Sinfield. The Emporer's New Clothes of RL players (at International level, anyway). Burrow would've been a MUCH better option.
The three quarters did ok
OK from Tomkins (looked dangerous)
All the pack did well, bar Mossop, who just got in the way. I thought Ferres would look WAY OUT of his depth, but acquitted himself well. Hill, superb. Westwood excellent, but for his discipline. Roby was just Roby (great player). Great displays from Burgess x3. Ablett will NEVER be an International standard RL player, as long as he draws breath.
We need a change in the halves, and I can't see McBanana dropping his skipper.

This is a joke , right ?
Gave 3 ridiculous penalties away and crucially cost England 6 points under the sticks .
I like Westwood but he needs to wise up at this level .

| He is very much an off the cuff type of player and in a much more structured set up is a bit restricted and people including his own team really don't know what he is about to do. For this reason I would play Widdop who is better equipped to guide the team around the park.
Sinfield I cannot make my mind up on, great leader on the part but where do you play him? He is too slow for 6, Lockers would get my vote at 13, Roby is 9 .... it's a quandry

I know you're from Yorkshire, but it wasn't THAT difficult to understand, was it?
Westwood was excellent. According to the Beeb's stats, 25 tackles in his first stint. In a Test Match situation, for so little minutes played, that's a LOT of work. We suffered when he got blood-binned near the end, taking away an interchange spot (unless the blood bin changes don't count. I think they do)

no watched all the game...playing well for 20 mins out of 80 is simply not good enough when playing a quality side..burrow may of offered more but we`ll never know..and watch it again and you`ll see sinfield caught out for 2 trys...

Westwood is a liability at this level , his indiscipline may be tolerated at Warrington but at national level he is a disaster . The Aussies must have been wetting themselves at the easy yards afforded by him .
Can't be d giving you some geographical insult .
