The 2015 world club championship has apparently landed a large TV deal and will contain a 6 team format with the top 3 from the NRL and Super League playing against each other.
Has anyone else also heard the 'rumour' about the Big deal Warrington could be set to announce with Fly Emirates which could include a new stadium naming rights?

Yes, apparently Emirates want to be the main shirt sponsor and to rename the stadium, but the deal can only happen if both are offered.

HJ extended their deal for naming rights recently.

Correct, and let's not forget they sponsored our Australia tour. It all hinges on the cost of buying the naming rights, is what I was told.

Your right though, its by far the biggest sponsorship deal in Superleague........shame about the salary cap eh.

Biggest name certainly, depends on what you're getting for it. Wigan need a new sponsor for next season, I'd like to see us go with a big international brand also.

The club have announced the end of the Brookson sponsorship deal on the Club website. Paving the way for a new sponsorship for 2014.

I wonder if they will announce how much wonga the new deal is worth ?

Not being funny but what's the benefit of that? As long as the deal is ok'd by the Board who cares. I can't imagine the deal being like the Stobart deal with the RFL.

If this is correct, then it's just the type of sponsor that RL really needs.

I am interested to know how much they are getting. They announced the value of the recently re-negotiated catering contract. If they are getting a lot more money from Emirates, then it's really good news for us.
