Makes you wonder how the hell we managed to finish 2nd after 27 rounds and make it to the GF when we don't have anyone good enough for the Dream Team and only two players considered good enough for the England squad!

Stefan Ratchford in particular can count himself very unlucky not to make the squad, but looking on the bright side, we should have a reasonabley healthy and rested squad for the start of 2014 pre-season.

I think McIlorum has shown he's far more prepared for test football during the playoffs than people like Lunt, Houghton and Higham. He's been awesome for us leading the defence and hurting the opposition. I think he could be good starting for England with Roby coming on for impact but I'm not sure it'll happen.

Also he's not been sent off once this year and has given away 13 fewer penalties than Ben Westwood.

After seeing his name in the squad, I was wondering if anyone on here knows how James Graham has been faring down under with the Bulldogs?

He is a great player Graham, can only do England good with the amount of players playing in NRL! Look at the impact Morley has had with us.

our pack has been bullied all season by the likes of huddersfield...

its one of the main reasons we didn't get to the grand final and why we only finished second in the league.

Yep agreed on Ratchford, he is a real game changer and a better player than Hardaker.

Squad has some real quality in some positions and some proven NRL performers too. And most players deserve a squad place at least with me disappointed with only 2 or 3. But we do look a bit lean at centre and at 7 and there is no clear, proven halfback partnership either.
