was very impressed with currie tonight! He never missed a tackle for a 17 year old what talent warrington have.Young dwyer played well very impressed with the pair of them well done!

Widnes had more first teamers missing than Wire.

same thing was said when they beat wigan.

Ryan Atkins, Chris Riley, Chris Hill, Ben Currie and Brad Dwyer were the positives for me, in spells Carvell looked strong, Paul Wood seemed to cut out his errors tonight, Mike Cooper did some strong work when he came on, well apart from that knock on lol

I know Myler got man of the match but his kicking game was awful, it just gave Widnes some easy posession. He did some good passes but he threw out a lot of ropey ones as well.

Not knocking the lad but if he was he seemed to get repeatedly driven back in the tackle, 10/10 for enthusiasm but he still needs to develop more before he's SL standard. Hopefully it will come, young players reaching their potential is good for the sport from ANY club.

With another preseason and a bit more bulk I suspect Currie will be pushing for the first 17 every week. He has immense promise but I agree with the original poster that he did get pushed back in the tackle a lot but to his credit he didn't let go of many.
