does anybody think we might give a debut or 2 to some of our youngsters on thursday? and for the Widnes fans out there i dont mean it in a (it will be an easy game) way ala Wigan. I mean it in the sense that we have a few players out of form to say the least. And a tough game in France 4 days later. If so who should come in? Danny Bridge? Ben Evans?

No matter what we say if we start putting in some youngsters it will be considered we underestimate them.

I know winning both would of been the better option, but if it was just one we could win would it of been Saints Friday or Widnes on Thurs??

See im different im all for us playing like we are in attack with the high risk plays , i just think we need to use a bit more common sense, (Carvell's offload on our own line) because as we seen last season when they start coming off we give some big teams some good hidings, the thing that was worrying me about Friday was the defence in that opening half an hour , we were being destroyed around the play the ball and a couple of their tries were just poor defence. Everybody knows the way Warrington play and thats the team they want to watch.

We have several players who are not at their best at the moment. I don't know if they need a rest, kick up the backside, or more game time to get back to full match fitness, I suspect it’s the latter with some of them and don’t think we’ll see too many changes.

Even seasoned professionals go through periods where their confidence and belief in in themselves suffers. I suspect TS will know which ones will benefit from support and which ones need a bit of a wake up call.

I'd try and rest Waterhouse on Thursday. He's done the full 80 v Wigan and Saints and put in some really big defensive shifts. Ben Westwood returns on Thursday so I would be tempted to rest Trent ready for Monday.

Carvell needs more game time for me...needs to put in some basic hard graft..and build up his confidence again...so he must play.

Dropping senior players who are out of form is the wrong thing to do, let them work through it. They will be aware of what they need to do.

Don't underestimate the influence of Ben Westwood coming back into the team as well, far and away our best player at the moment.

Everyone will be well aware we are failing to meet the standards we set last year....they must be given the chance to put things right on the pitch. The coach has a big part to play in getting our focus right and concentrating on building a solid foundation in a match before the expansive switch is turned on.
