Such a shame to hear this. As we've heard a whole host of times its a minority and not a reflection of all fans. The problem is it does reflect on all a clubs fans including alos the whole competition. If their respective clubs are not doing enough to eradicate this behaviour then the RFL needs to stop in. With heavy handed policing in football quelling a lot of the issues I've always worried that these mindless idiots will turn their attention to a sport with less policing. If thats the case we need to stamp a tough line now.

It doesn't sound like a pleasant incident but it's pathetic to blame the entire city of Hull for a handful of idiots. There was an excellent atmosphere away at Hull FC, passionate but good-natured.

The idiots on this thread stereotyping the city of Hull for the acts of a few fans from one of its sports teams should hang their heads in shame. I suppose they turn a blind eye to all the naughty Warrington fans in order to keep this perception that they're all good boys and girls. It's a good job not everyone groups people together because of a minority.

I was in the West Stand myself. Not a full shilling alot of that Hull lot, certainly alot of them that were in the stand anyway.

I like FC fans. Haven't had much contact with Rovers fans.

Wasn't at the game today and it's sad to hear of trouble, but I seem to remember a thread praising the Hull KR fans last season for travelling to the HJ in good numbers, good voice and happy to have some friendly banter.

They have bad apples as do every club, but is there really a need to tar all with the same brush?

There were A LOT of Rovers fans that didn't appear to be a full shilling. There were some however, who were perfectly fine and a credit to the club they were supporting.

Some Hull KR fans getting off a coach on Winwick Road looked very drunk before the game. Alcohol usually contributes to such silly behaviour that we witnessed today.

Same bloke that caused the hussle last season at your place aswell - such a shame as even though we were truely beaten we were singing for about 30minutes none stop even through half time.

Always the same group of people from each club - hopefully both clubs work together and ban them from all sporting events

Now, you see this is where the problem lies. We had serious incidents down Orford/Dallam about 3-4 years ago wasn't it in a match involving Hull FC NOT Hull Kingston rovers, when, 'fans', widely accepted as Hull City fans came with batons/baseball bats and what other nonsense and thuggishly kicked off with some Wire element.

Quite clearly, you believe that they wern't football fans and by this post your tarring Hull Kingston Rovers with actions made by these 'people' and a game which involved Hull FC.

I also believe the 'stewards', I use the term loosely because they are absolute dire at handling a situation. For what it's worth, I frequent Warrington Town Centre on a regular basis and it's the same boneheads that deal with incidents in town horrifically that do the stewarding at games are taking the same stance because of said incidents and their heavy handed approach towards innocent people in the crowd today were appauling, it's obvious with a large police/steward presence in a crowd is going to cause tension, why the need for so many numbers?

And surely your not so naive to think that Warrington fans situated in the away stand, and I don't mind a small pocket but quite a number, had nothing to do with people being thrown out? I'm all for standing with opposition supporters if they aren't their for the sole reason of winding people up.

With regards to the stewards; the old chap that was on a stretcher was because the stewards knocked him over trying to get to the fight, and he hit his head on the concrete step.
