This though is the type of game TS has been after, tight, physical but we dug in well even with the lack of options at interchange.

Fantastic win for Wires..with two men down for most of the match....brilliant win.

Harrison looks like he might be out for a while, but apparently Hodgson and Higham are ready to come back. Good to see Chris Hill get some gametime tonight, he looked impressive.

He`ll soon become a fans favourite with you guys.

Harrison is the worst of the two according to TS. Hopefully Grix won't be out for too long.

I was very impressed with him. He made some good drives forward and didn't look nervous on his debut. I hadn't realised that he played on Thursday night as well. Great effort from the lad.

Great win tonight under the circumstances... It's not an easy place to go and win. Terrible display from bentham.. the straight red was obvious to everyone watching.

I was also impressed with Hill. He had a good solid stint when he came on... I also thought cooper played well.

The most impressive thing about the display was how we ground the win out in the second half... The forwards really did stand up to be counted tonight.

A great team performance, we lost 2 players from our pack yet over the 80 minutes we still out muscled a formidable Giants pack & then provided the platform for our backs to do the damage.

Well Done to every player that wore the P&B tonight.

Good to know that even with losing Harrison and Grix we can still have a starting pack next week of Morley, Monaghan, Carvell, Waterhouse, Westwood and Cooper with Wood, Higham, Hill and one from Blythe, Riley (assuming Evans returns) or McCarthy on the bench.

Absolutely superb, gutsy win albeit at a high cost. Each player should be proud of that result as they were unbeaten and looked in good form.

Not may teams will go there and win this season. The game had it all, try of the season so far from Wire, bit of biff, niggle, arm wrestle, and a Clarke "ball steal" controversy which made him look daft. Superb effort from Moz, Wood, Monaghan and Westwood. Looks like we are picking up from where we left off last season.

A lot of steel in that display.

By the way, top of the league again and will remain there if Saints don't beat Hull KR. If that happens we fall to a lowly 2nd.

Indeed. Very impressed with Mike, forget his missed tackle that lead to a try his movement and offload in creating the wire try was very good.

Got to say Hill looks a belter though. He made his debut amidst a worldwar in the 2nd half and did the hard stuff well. Cracking signing.

We either trounce Hudds or have the battle of all battles.
Tonight was the latter.

Impressed by Hill - as has been said by others - drove the ball in well.
And Blythe seems to be bigger than last year. Good to see him get a try.
Riley had a good game and took his tries well.
Was a bit disappointed with Ratchford - I think he was at fault for one try and seemed to be out of position a few times. Good going forward though.
Bridge seemed to have 'lost it' mid way through the 2nd half and I half wondered if TS would take him off.

We deserved the win - but not by 10 points. Never felt comfortable until the last 5 minutes.

Hudds look a very useful side, but they often seem to do well against us and then play miserably aagainst 1-2 other top teams. I think they'll be top 6 this year without a doubt

How many years have we been able to pick a starting 13/17 no problem, now it's really difficult, we probably have a decent squad up to about 26/28

Great 2 ponts against the in-form Giants, although some of our goal line defence was pretty suspect letting in some soft tries to Shirley, Eden and Chan.

Also great piece of skill from Stefan Ratchford for Richie Myler's try, if you watch, he passes it blind to Myler and doesn't take his eyes of the incoming Hudds player as he thinks Westwood knocks on in the bulid up.

Spot on Yed, we have had a good 13 / 17 for the past 5 or so years . Where we fell down was when we had injuries to that 17 we didn't have the depth to cover. We now have Hill, Evans , Williams , Tyke, Big Dave, O'Brien Matty Blythe and Ratchford all waiting for their chance.

Also we now have the best Warrington Coach I can ever remember.

Great win tonight. Players must have been out on their feet by the end of it. Didn't play up to our usual standards but important to be able to grind out a win.

Fortunately we've got an extra day to recover before HKR, who have a very hard game against Saints tomorrow, and have no halfbacks.
