I'd say it would have to be a straight position swap. Having recently watched some old Warrington vids on You Tube I've just remembered how class Brian Johnson was (as a player). The only problem is that he didnt kick goals for fun like Hodgson does.

That's not right though is it? Briers spent 8 or 9 years sulking over being released by Saints. It's only under Smith's tutoring that he's matured into a quality player.

Nonsense. He's always been a key player for us, even when sharing the stage with star names such as Langer. And he even managed to shine when playing in crap teams and for crap coaches. Imagine getting the young Briers under Tony Smith with the squad we have now. Awesome. |
