No rush we never take too many to Leeds. The attendance will be up on last years however as more people will go down as we have more chance of winning.

Being televised on sky and the friday night traffic may put some off from making the trip over.

I'm going out in Leeds on Friday night so I'm heading down around 6ish, should be fine to get a ticket on the gate shouldn't I? Also, can you get student tickets on the gate or just pre-purchase (can't remember if they let us last season).

We have had just short of 24k in there in the SL era and it actually held more before the new stand was built.

Edit: we havent had a 20k crowd since 2007 though I think. I reckon with a good away following we will get 18/19 this weekend though

Think around 18k mark. Wire always seem to have good amount of traveling fans so could be more.

Nah, these cross-pennine Friday night matches are stupid. I won't be going but would have done if on the Saturday or Sunday - I know plenty of others who are similar.

Crowd will be 16.5k to 17k, tops.

Supporter's not being able to race over the lancs/yorks divide to watch matches on friday evenings thus having to settle down and watch it on Sky Sports is exactly what Sky want i'd imagine.

Very true, they aren't daft. I suppose the clubs are happy with it too, the choice of a few thousand extra fans on their attendance figures across the season or keep the people who give them over a £1m a year happy.
