To be honest I agree with them. I'm sure this de-register when injured, and re-register when fit is not in the spirit of the game.
However there may be salary cap issues, as I assumed Dobson would still be paid whilst de-registered, or is this a loophole?

I dont think you will see Mason in a Hull KR shirt again. The French are flashing the cash and it would seem that Willie cant get a passport.

Dobson was always going to be re-registered so I dont know what the issue is.

As far as I understood the Dobson situation, when he was de-registered he was also deemed to be off-contract (this was what it said in League Express anyway).

If Mason is therefore in the same situation, surely he could just walk away to RU and HKR will get nothing for him ?


IMHO HKR have been made to look rather foolish thoughout this whole fiasco, time to wake up and smell the fish.

It was on Five Live this morning that the Toulon President had said that they were having problem keeping Gavin Henson under control. If they can't do that, how the hell will they control Mason?

The whole thing has been a farce from the moment Mason said he wanted to come to this country. HKR have done themselves a lot of damage and Mason has simply shown himself to be the attention seeker that he's always been.

No disrespect to HKR, but it always looked a bit fishy (sorry) to me
