What a joke went in club shop today 12;30pm to purchase a day ticket for magic weekend guess what sold out, i thought 2 weeks before the event would be plenty of time so its cost me £17.50 for a ticket that should of been £12.50 so bought a ticket for the sunday even though i wont be there,i could of got reserved seats but away from the warrington fans,ffs



What a shambles just thought i would let any posters who havnt got tickets yet know,or does anyone want to buy my sunday ticket for a fiver??

Buy from the RFL website. Not surpising that we have managed to sell our allocation and more, but didn't expect to sell them two weeks prior.

How dare the Warrington ticket office sell all their tickets, I mean, what do they think they are a ticket office or something?

Shouldn't you be happy your club has sold all their tickets? Shows what commited fans you guys have...

Wont get the discount off the tickets out of the season ticket book,i asked could i purchase tickets at cardiff yes came the reply but full price!

Do you not realise that the club is only initially given a certain number of tickets? Why did you buy a separate ticket for Sunday? Before you lose your rag any more, why don't you ask the club if and when they are getting some more? They probably are as there is a demand for the, or ring the RFL on Monday. Finally, you obviously haven't heard of the 6 P's.

Ditch, partial apology. Having read your post again and inserted comma's, full stops etc, I now realise what you've done. Look on the bright side, maybe clubs have sold more tickets than was first thought. you can probably get rid of your spare ticket in one of the pubs in Cardiff.

I always wondered what 'buy early to avoid disappointment' meant ?

i'm outraged, i'm a season ticket holder with a voucher for this, i was going to go take a trip to the shop pre match tomorrow to go get this.

Whats the point of having a season ticket, with offers, if we've only got a limited amount of tickets, its a bloody outrage and i've been to all the magic weekends since the inception.

As i say i thought 2 weeks prior to the event was ample time,this isnt a Take That concert we are talking about with phone lines and internett lines getting snarled up,anyway off to nandos with my season ticket try and get 50% off my meal........May cheer me up a little!

Why didn't you get across to Saints, they have tickets for sale?

Really if you have a season ticket then you should be entitled to your half price magic day ticket. If the club need more they should ask for more from the RFL,as they have never informed the fans that only a limited number were available. Over to you for comment "news wire."

All of our reserved seat allocation had been sold out too when we got ours on Wednesday. So we've got unreserved for the first time.

I may have missed the point all together here but...

When I was in the shop today, a guy in front of me tried to buy a day ticket for the Saturday. He was told by the guy behind the counter that we had sold our allocation of day tickets and that he would be better off buying a weekend pass which was the same price. The club do still have reserved seating tickets available for the day but they haven't sold any of these therefore the guy would be better off buying the weekend pass and then he could sit wherever he likes.

Is this what you have done ditch?

Ring the rfl. Thats what i did and got the season ticket discount

I went on the website there were no cat 2 seats left at £12.50 but there was cat 1 seats available at £17.50 I'm presuming cat 1 seats are better seats i.e upper or lower tier but you could buy a weekend pass cat 2 for the same price as cat 1 for the day,it doesn't really explain on the website what the differance is between cat 1 and cat 2.

I think cat 1 is reserved seats and cat 2 is unreserved

Catergory 1 is reserved, these seats are on the very top tier of the stadium, whilst catergory 2 is unreserved, these seats are anywhere on the middle or bottom tier, category two is better value for money IMO. Also, the middle tier is probably the best view in the stadium.

I've got 2 adults tickets and 3 kids tickets for unreserved seating for the Saturday and I'm not going now. If anyone wants them PM. I'm not looking to recover all the cost I paid for them, just a few quid for each ticket.

I was palmed off with two day tickets @ £17.50 but only wanted 1 day tickets @ £12.50 as we are only going on the Saturdy.
Having heard that we have been allocated more tickets I went into the shop today to ask for a refund so that I could get £12.50 tickets only to be told that we could but would get a voucher for £5 instead of money back.

Yep same as me thats why i started the thread in the first place.
The thing is no one in the shop told me more tickets were becoming available this week,i just got a stern NO we have sold out thats it,so i bought a 2 day ticket also which is about as much use as tits on a fish as i am only there on the saturday.
So a five pound voucher we get back better than nothing i suppose could of all been avoided though with a little forward planning..
