Just interested to hear which concerts, gigs and festivals. people have been and are planning to go to. I have watched, Echo and the bunnymen, The Manic Street Preachers, Arctic Monkeys, Editors and Starsailor. I'd love to go watch Kings of Leon live and I'm also debating whether to go and watch Simple Minds, great band. Also, I've never been a festival but I'll definitley be going Leeds festival one year.

seen the Bunnymen 30 odd times since about '83. Only been to 1 big outdoor concert and that was Madness in Finsbury Park '92, backed up by Ian Dury and the Blockheads.

I saw Deadmau5 in London at the weekend,incredible night.

Il get slated for that because some people need a band to enjoy themselves,but if you know your DJ's I reccommend mr Mau5.

Simple Minds any good?

Very, I wouldn't say I'm a huge Simple Minds fan but one of my all time favourite songs is Waterfront. And it was worth seeing them live just for that song alone.

Saw Plan B at our university's summer ball.

Amazing live band, definitely the best concert I've been to. Not only are they vocally perfect, but Brandon Flowers really knows how to put on a show.

Yeah, Waterfornt is awesome, I like Sanctify yourself, Don't You Forget About Me and Theme for great cities.

Yeah, heard they're excellent live myself. Wouldn't mind watching them perform thats for sure, watching them perform Mr Brightside infront of thousands would be awesome.

V Good indeed. I went to see them when they headlined at Maine Rd in '91 (I went to see the Stranglers, who were disappointing) and I was very impressed. Good voice, good musicianship, good live act.

My most recent was Steve Hackett (ex Genesis guitarist, before they commerciallised) last month, at Manchester Academy. AWESOME.

Nothing on the horizon though. Most of the stuff I like, are in the pension queue.

Only regret was not seeing the Stones in 90 at Maine Rd. Ticket prices for them now are taking the mick.

Last gig was James at the MEN Arena on Saturday night. Spur of the moment decision to go while bevvied in Manchester after the Liverpool match got called off, so we went down at 9pm and got three tickets for the price of one off a tout. Decent gig I think but I don't remember too much about it!

Next gig I've got a ticket for is the Levellers in London in March but a few thing's are bound to come up between now and then.

Best gig of 2010 was Gallows at Moho Live in Manchester last month - the purest punk rock show I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. Second best was the Gaslight Anthem at the Academy in June.

I've been to Reading festival nine times (in a row 2001-09) and Download 2006. Doing Sonisphere next year for the thrash big four.

I went to kiss this year and next year im going to see maroon 5

If memory serves me correctly did OMD and Voice of the Beehive appear as well on that bill? I was disappointed with the Stranglers as well but strangely thought OMD were really entertaining, especially Andy McClusky's dancing............

Gig of 2010 for me - Mumford & Sons in March in Manchester.

Castle Donington 84 AC/DC headlined Van Halen, Ozzy, Gary Moore on the line up as well, the weather was great, had great mates, fit young bird on my arm, not a worry in the world............Where did it all go wrong!

Last gig Airbourne at manc apollo, got my hearing back after 4days!

Groove Armada are very good live.I saw the chemical brothers do a dj set at sankey soaps which was good.Seen the chemical brothers do they hits at the apollo, which wasn't as good as their dj set.Tribal Gathering was a excellent gig,love parade in leeds was good.

Motorhead at the Apollo was the highlight of the year. Lemmy is a true rock'n'roll legend.
