Burke, Goulding and Dwyer were impressive when I saw them this year, heard good things about Mendeika, be good to see Helliwell and Currie who bagged a few tries after joining from Wigan plus got Moores, Bennion, Warrilow and Saltonstall who made the England youth squads, haven't a clue about the Aussie side sure to be some talent in it though.

Going to be freezing might bring a hip flask.

The AIS fullback Luke Abdul Rehman is one of the best young players on the books at Nth Qld Cowboys and the centre Melbourne Storm's Richard Kennar is regarded as the next Greg Inglis.
They also have the benefit of a couple of games under their belt.

This is a different team to the Australian Schoolboys who are touring as well?

Just heard that AIS are leading 24-6 at half time.

Our number 8 reminded me of Morley, influencial and an absoloute monster. As was number 28.

Burke looked good at full back, and bobbie goulding had a decent game.

But the biggest thing tonight by a mile was the weather, and bloody hell it was freezing. Glad they had refreshments on, think I had about 3 cups of tea.

Had a bad feeling as soon as I saw that Gold and Green jersey.

Started well enough with Burke backing up a good break for the first try, down hill after that though thought we gave them too much cheap ball and tries, them young Aussies though look bloody good all seemed to have a quick step, good passing and run very good attacking lines, number 2 for them looks a beast as did the fullback so many of there players were huge for their age, number 28 for us is a big lad looks like a young Ben Harrison.

Nice to see TS there tonight. Our coaching staff seemed to be taking it very seriously videoing it etc. Should make for an x-rated video nasty debrief. Good crowd as well on a freezing night.

I'm guessing number 8 was Glen Riley ?
Anyone know who number 28 was ?

I thought Warrington would have got a lot closer, the coaching staff must be very disappointed with that scoreline.
