Smith will know what Poaching is capable of, otherwise he wouldn't have taken him on.

Doesn't say much about Smith's opinion of Chambers, to promote him, though.

The guys done an absolute shocking job of the Leeds under 20's since Smith put him in that position. Look how far backwards Leeds have gone in that department since he took charge.

Most were crying out for a change for this year, and the club delivered.

He's a great guy with an infectious personality, but as a coach he's nothing more than a water carrier.

He was 'released' from his position there which seems to suggest he wasn't doing what was required.

Willie definately was ,but i have nothing but respect for Smith and his judgement.
the Rumour is that franny and Willie were increasingly at odds with Bluey and went to hetherington to voice their oppinions and Gary backed the coach and gave him an extension of contract those two resigned? ,Gary then engaged McDermott then Bluey quit !!!.
Apparantly Franny was well thought of ,but Willie did'nt do well with under 20s

just have to see how it goes. Enough people on here hated Lowes so they will probably see it as an improvement

Hate is a strong word. I think a lot of people had a dim view of him through his media appearances as head coach, his clear lack of eloquence and composure, the alleged verbals with the fans, and that he was never really "Smith's man".

If Smith thinks he can "help us become a better team and club" then that's just fine by me.

Aided Smithy in building his Leeds dynasty lets hope he can do the same for us
