| As if a trip to Headingly wasn't hard enough..We had to do it without 2 pivotol players in Myler and Monaghan..
It also looked as though Briers was playing with a knock which didn't help..
Mentions for Harrison,Grix and Mathers who i thought all had strong games..
Oh and kudos to the Leeds fans who cheered and jeered when it looked for a minute that Matt king might be seriously injured..Thankfully he returned later..
And Ben (Mr Leeds) Thaler the double movement decision you gave late on in the game (the game was already lost i add) i've never seen a player look as bemused as Solamona was....

| It was disgraceful when the Leeds fans were actually cheering to the fact that Kingy had been knocked out cold.
Thaler was a disgrace.
And Leeds deserved to win, there defence was outstanding.

| We were never good enough to win the game. We had a strong opening 15-20 minutes but fell short after that. Thaler made some bad decisions but none of which lost us the game.

i'll never cheer a lad out cold as ive been there as a nipper and rushed to hospital, but at the time i witnessed the cheer from the carnege stand go up was just as the big hit had happened and he got sacked. soon as he stayed down on his back everyone was concerned. maybe you are confused between a cheer of a big 'collision'. no fan no matter how daft they are wants to see a kind knackered

Completely agree i've no complaints that Leeds won the game....But Thaler pulls some baffling decisions out of the bag at times...

No. It was definatley at King.
The Leeds fans cheered as Popeye and some other Leeds oplayer knocked Kingy into touch there was a slight pause then Kingy is lay flat on the ground then suddenly a cheer. Disgusting.

| i never doubted it happened but of 16000 folks i cant count for them all, just the ones around me. but if we are been like that, the 7 wire fans that started on my old man (67 years old) in Woodies for no reason other than been in at 4pm with a leeds shirt got a damn good hiding from the locals (students and regulars, dont even think they followed leeds, just looked after the lad) and ended up in bridewell for tonight. shame cos when me and the rest of the family turned up we'd have given them a damn good hiding, but it always works out when one of the family is a rozzer and kicks them out of the nick at 5am in the morning.

| leeds defence was immense that was the difference in the first ten minutes we would of scored atleast 3 tries against any other side but we got just the one from a kick through which gave them confidence. Another ten minutes and we would of won that game as it was only a matter of time before we scored our fourth try

| You played us on the day it all came back together...If you had played us a couple of weeks back you would have probs got the result. I was impressed by Leeds myself. Warrington don't half shift that ball out wide well and I was surprised how well Leeds defended against it. Personally I wouldn't read into the not beating any of the top teams stat, because your certainly capable of doing so. Your only going to improve under TS no doubt about that, the best n the business imo.

| I would love to see the penalty stats for last night. I don't think any were harsh or undeserved. After about the 20 minute mark we started to look desperate and lost any composure that we had. Credit to Leeds as with burrow missing and peacock going off early doors I thought we stood a chance but they dug deep. Some things that we were doing last week just didn't stick and a lot of that was down to Leeds. king was surrounded by 3 Leeds shirts every time a kick came across and they made sure we were not going to score a sack load out wide through slick handling. Leeds played well.

| We lost because no one seem intrested we looked flat, unorganised and too many players didnt stand up and be counted. It was overall a poor team performance last nigth. You cant blame the ref for anything ok he made some bad calls but its down the team to win the game.As for Leeds fans cheering King had been injured then i would say some Wire fans are just as bad for cheering when Peacock went down.

Story so far is we are not as good as we think we are we over hype ourselves( well the fans do, not the club ) and cant beat our main contenders that's the down side
The up side is we have only lost 4 game and still IMO have not played to our potential yet in the league the season isn't won in May it's won at the grand final so judgement can't be made until then !
Compared to previous seasons we are amazing I think this time last year the stats were the other way around and only won 4 so I am happier than last year but still disappointed as I genuinely think we are better than we are playing !

| I'm mildly disappointed with the result but in reality it's a tough place to go, full stop. Monas would have made a difference but to what degree is hard to say, I'm still convinced we had enough to win there last night minus him but didn't play well enough, and also probably caught Leeds hot, if not at their best.
I'd say Smith would class last night as something along the lines of a 'flat performance', well, if we're flat and get beat 26-16 at the champions, things aren't so bad. When other teams are flat, they clobbered for 60. Our flat performances now would be more than enough for three quarters of SL, it's just those top teams - you have to find them on your day, when things fall right, so far they haven't, but I wouldn't lose the faith just yet.
We're punching with the heavyweights this year, and long may it continue, it's been too long, but we won't get everything our own way. After the euphoria of last week, perhaps the players took their eye of the ball, if only a tad, here's your reality check. If you're off it in SL, off it by 5% as a collective, you'll get beat.

For me, it was the same thing as the saints game, in that we got an injury or two and moved king to centre from the wing, which his kick returns were a huge part of what we were doing well in the games prior and turned up and just didn't do everything that we had previously cos the team was changed.
Same thing last night, too many changes to the actual side, atkins the back row, louis on the other side of teh field, it just looked awkward and forced, especially seeing riley, king(grix) and atkins all defending together, didn't look right at all.

Whilst I don't disagree with your comments in the round couldn't we argue that, indeed, we are not punching with the heavyweights based on the losses against Saints, Leeds and Wigan?

It means nothing beating the big three. It all boils down to the end of the season as Smith says.
Just like to point out that we lost to Wigan and Saints both on goal kicking. Leeds and Hull KR are the only teams to have outplayed us.

but when would you have scored your fifth? Leeds won by two clear scores. Your two trys in the last ten mins were consolation and mainly due that leeds were playinging with only 15 players through the whole second half. This was a big test of Warringtons title credentials and they came up well short.
