Fielden is out of contract at the end of the season and won't get anywhere near as high a contract this time round.

When you see Fielden now you wonder whats happened to him. His stats are ok, not the monster of a prop he used to be but is that just down to surroundings?

At his best at Bradford he was with big props who shared the work. Would a move to Warrington playing alongside Morley, Carvell and Wood reignite his career? Or is he to be let out to pasture?

Its a shame how he has fallen, im sure there is someone who can bring that old Fielden back....maybe Smith?

What i am saying is if he goes missing against big players thene he'd go missing in big games against the likes of Saints - Peacock, Leeds - Graham.

For me it depends on where Ben Harrison is gonna be playing next year. If Ben makes the move to prop, then i'd say no we dont need another prop, but if Harrison plays the role that he is now i'd say Fielden on an average 1 year rolling contract would be a decent signing as a fourth prop from the bench..
