Darn, you just which they'd do a pitch inspection at a time which is realistic: 3 hours, the pitch could easily be unfrozen!! My back garden is nearly unfrozen and that's got NO covers at all, not even by the south stand trouble spot!!!

There's no point in paying a lot of money for covers or heating for a couple of friendly matches. Like Chester Wire said, why all this fuss about a friendly match? If we played and got a couple of serious injuries as a result of the conditions everyone would be whingeing about how stupid it was to play.

I'm gutted. Maybe we can get a supporter from each team to do the crossbar challenge to decide who gets the World of Beds cup?

Don't know as 2 games are enough to get the players up to match fitness.I noticed saints have now arranged a game at Keighley to replace the pies game, maybe we should be looking at something similar.
