Thought he could have been useful for us during the four nations. I liked him in that series against the Kiwis a few years back, his industry in the pack would have helped a lot.

Totally agree with bit in bold, like i've said before rather have Sean Tully. But Tomkins best at average, hes a fantastic player.

I wish more people would admitt it and see its in Englands best interest to play Tomkins rather than Myler rather than letting hatred of Wigan get in the way.

Tomkins running style and the way he plays could be the way to unlock the aussie defence.

I didn't say that i just said he's a fantastic playe, likewise Myler when on form. It's an interesting debate as you also have to look at Eastmond and what he can bring to the squad.

Better halves than Tomkins have struggled to open Australia.

Just like your hatred of Myler,Smith and Warrington.

Tomkins only has one trick up his sleeve,his step and dash.Apart from that he has nothing else.

Why would they be laughing at two quality players?

If anyones inclusion in the England squad is likely to amuse the Australians it's Paul Sykes and Ben Westwood.
