Cas fans usually moan about theirs. Not nessercarily the shop, but they seem crap at getting merchandise out in time for Christmas. I don't think it needs saying how popular a time Christmas is for buying merch.

Fair enough. Canterbury going out of business was a real shame. I always thought it made us a little different to the other SL clubs being the only one they supplied. With ISC we'll be just one of many. Only the other clubs will have plenty and we'll be out of stock as normal.

| never had a problem with the shop apart from the opening hours, only because do a lot of work out of town, but thats a minor gliitch as I just send the wife. but think the club should look at this in the run up to Xmas

Worse job in the world having to deal with members of Joe Public.
Travelling from Ireland on a regular basis I rely on the shop and have never received anything other than friendly efficiency.

My personal experience has just been bad, On a number of occasions I have asked for something not on display (Different sized shirt, Match DVD’s etc) and just feel that I have been fobbed off.

| I hate to jump on the bandwagon but I've not got anything that nice to say about the club shop either.
I've had a season ticket for, erm let me think, 4 years now after a few years break due to Uni, working the other end of the country etc, and they still can't manage to put me on the mailing list for renewals. Every autumn I go in to renew and I get the same blank stare when I tell them I don't have a renewal letter. They then take all my details and promise that I'll get a renewal letter at the end of next season. I smile and nod my head at them knowing full well I'll go through the same process next year.

Are you sure it is the club shop that deal with season ticket renewals??
Try sending the change of address slip in your season ticket to the club and I'm sure it will get picked up by marketing or some other part of the club and will be amended accordingly. I know my address has after I moved.

Yeah, all the renewals are done through the shop (well, according to the woman that did mine yesterday).
I did the change of address thing last year, even though I haven't changed addresses for a few years now, but with no luck. She even had to check the hand written plan of the stadium to check I was allocated to my seats as she said I didn't exist on their computer system.
Its so nice to feel appreciated as a long term fan and supporter of the club.
Its a good job I'm primrose & blue to the core.

| I have never had anything but a friendly first class service in the club shop.
I have often been amazed by the rudeness of many of the customers. Perhaps the people complaining should have a look at themselves before shouting their mouths off?
