obviously we will all be keeping an eye on the play offs and grand final and the forthcoming internationals but theres plenty of sports to follow through what really is not such a long off season.
this years football premiership looks like being a really good one for those of us that like the round ball as well as the oval one.
for the punters amongst us the national hunt season will be kicking off soon with lots of quality racing through the winter.
as we near the festive season the pdc darts will give a couple of weeks of good entertainment,throw in some boxing title fights and before you know it we will be in pre season friendly mode and looking forward to the season proper.
now that espn are on the scene i seem to be developing a penchant to baseball too!
i hope everyone enjoys the off season after the rollercoaster ride this year has been and we all come back to the hj refreshed and ready to roar the boys on to even greater success.

UFC for me, once the rugby season is over, that and getting a lot of fishing done over winter.

I keep meaning to try and get into it, really should make more of an effort.

If you can deal with the constant stop/start it's worth it.

Football will keep me occupied, it's great how the 2 sports I love overlap meaning I'm never without entertainment. Hope to go fishing a lot more as well.

Football is the only sport you need in the winter months.

Anyway the Super League playoffs will keep you going for a bit, plus there's the NRL finals, with the two semis and final on Setanta. The Tri Nations runs on until the middle of November, and provides the change to see perhaps the best backline there will ever be if Slater, Folau, Hodges, Inglis, Hayne, Lockyer and Thurston take to the field together.

I love UFC! And the NFL, come on Eagles!

England and their winter tour of South Africa will keep me entertained pre Christmas, then the festive football action is awesome, tied in with the darts, then you're at pre-season friendly time.

As has been mentioned the Playoffs and then International RL will keep things going for a while longer, I'll be watching Football, NFL, Darts, the remainder of F1 season I'll probably watch a bit of Union if I get really bored.

Football and Boxing, like a previous poster said theres some great fights in the next few months, Mayweather v Marquez isn't on box office for a change, it starts 2am early sunday morning, should be a classic.

As for the NFL, i'd rather watch repeats of Eldoraldo on UKgold.

Cross Country season is upon us.

I have really tried to get in to the NFL but the games just go on for far to long and not enough happens to keep my interest. So it will be football and boxing for me.
