Westwood had his best game for us for ages, Briers was terrific and I also thought that Carvell and Morley performed very well when they were on.

Westwood was ace today. He has been poor by his own standards last couple of weeks. Riley was good too pretty tough weather to be a full back

briers yes,he moved us round all day,but for impact and time on the pitch it was big gaz carvell,outstanding.

That high kick he collected in the first half with snow on it was immense, spoiled it in the 2nd half by knocking on near his own line mind.

Reckon that was his only mistake today, imho he is getting better.

Briers was good, Carvell was excellent playing longer minutes as we didn't have Wood, I reckon Carvell must have played 65 mins. Westwood was back somewhere near his best.

All this said, Salford stank.

I'd give MOM to Carvell, I thought he was excellent.

Monaghan for me, Briers had an absolute shocking 1st half in all departments, Westwood was a solid performer and Carvell must be given credit for the amount of game time he endured.

briers..... i also thought riley had a decent game.. apart from the one moment early in the second half.

I'm not sure it's clueless in fairness. The first half, every last tackle play was that stupid bomb in the air, when it was crying out for a weighted kick, just play the percentages etc, and he missed touch with a kick etc, he wasn't good.

What LWF is doing, is failing to acknowledge the second half, when he either scored or created probably 7 of the 9 tries, so that's probably what, circa 40 points.

I amdit he wasn't great first half but he wasn't shocking in all departments, he scored a try for a start and created some good openings.

Bridge

Briers for me. had a hand in most of the trys. 2 for himself. very nice.

Briers did have a shocker in the 1st half the only player that was worse was Bridge difference is Briers upped his game 2nd half Bridge didn't he was the only player who didn't imo ! To win like that with5 first choice players out and 2 playing on one leg was impressive 2nd half ,I just wish people would stop the booing like they did at half time it doesn't help build the morale of the team

King or Briers for me in the first half king was one of the few trying and doing something

can i just say that im so glad that chris bridge has nearly come through a full season without serious injury.

Not made of biscuit at all is he like all them posters last year made out...well in chris..

Some fella in front of me in the East Stand was slagging King off for his 70 yard burst from defence calling him "useless" as he should have finished the try! Thought it was a great break and took the pressure off us myself.
