Joking and bickering aside I'm really happy with Cooper re-signing. I still believe that he will prove in the long run to be a top level prop for Warrington in Super league.

Keeping Briers another year allows whichever young scrum-half comes into the squad to bed in alongside a creative foil as opposed to the "running" play of either Monaghan or Bridge.

Extra year for Vinnie - slightly bemused at this one.

I never said Briers was going to Barrow.

I did however tell people that Vinnie would sign weeks ago so why everybody is surprised by the news is beyond me.

Any news on Bridge getting an extension? Nothing much has been said about it.

Things are really taking shape now for 2010.
With the expected arrival of Myler and the expected departures of Rauhihi and Johnson it doesn't look like there will be anyother major moves in terms of incoming transfers unless there is a surprise departure.
A new prop could be another potential arrival as it looks like pickersgill and Rauhihi are on there way.

I'm pretty certain he'll get a contract due to his new lease of life at Centre, seems a different player when playing there, much improved and so far has stayed relatively injury free.

Lets hope Bridge does earn a new contract and that he stays fit and healthy, maybe then he might start to fulfill his massive potential.
