Bizarre how the ref & touch judge missed it. Monnas must feel like he has been knocked down by a truck.

It was a shame he got hit a second time, because so far this season a knock on the head seems to have improved his form within a match.

Hope he's ok, he really needs to up his game. He was showing some great signs for a month or so, but only Clarke was running the show tonight.

I think he threw up as he was being brought off, i seen him stop and bend over, the trainer looked very worried.

I thought the same thing. He didn't look to have taken another direct hit to the head when he took that second knock, but he must have been in a bad way to go down as heavy as he did. Hard as nails!

Its not been posted for your opinion on monas, I think people were commenting on the big hits he recieved. I too hope he is okay, they were huge hits. I couldnt believe he stayed on after the first one, but he looked like death after the second one.

though monas had a good game before getting knocked out. thought him and mathers did well in leading the team round all evening

We've all seen him but he doesnt appear often enough.

IMO Lowes got it right when we played Bradford. he played him as in impact hooker coming off the bench.

I think thats where TS should play him, not at half back.

It backfired when Briers got injured though

Grix did step up once he was off tho- perhaps at last we have found the right spot for him? He has the pace and it seemed the where with all.

Can't deny his commitment. Whether you feel he is the right number 7 for Wire or not, this guy will never take a backward step. His defensive technique is second to none. If only he was a bit smarter with his attacking options in the halves, I'd love to see him remain at the club. Funnily enough, I think he's a good player with Briers in the side, it just doesnt work when he has too much responsibility. I'm a big fan of Bridgey, but I'll admit he isn't the stand off I thought he could be. Brilliant at centre, but not in the halves.

I'd rather have Grix as a stand off then Bridge at the moment, he has got a good calmness about him and has a decent passing game. While Bridge offers a big threat down that right edge, while King is having another decent run in centres I'd keep it the same or similar for next week.

I thought Monas did okay last night. He was involved, his kicking was better than I've seen before, he tried to turn Greenshields around etc. He was involved nicely for Bridges try, he let folk like Mathers get involved and it worked well at times.

In the bigger picture, he's awful at halfback and needs to go home at the end of the year, back to the NRL which suits him better, but he's always given 100% so we can have no qualms, it's just not worked out, he's no 'Aussie money thief' like we like to think at times. He's tough, and getting up from that tackle last night showed just how brave he is, that was a huge hit, and he deserves a rap for the courage it showed to carry on really, only to get belted again.
