IF he was to leave, it would almost certainly pave the way for another scrum half to come in, with a contract extension for Briers.

It'd free up a nice quota spot for said scrum half aswell

You were moaning at the club for not going for Myler. It's not quite as simple as offering a player a contract and that's it done. The player has to want to make the move first.

He didn't say he knew about a contract, he was making a good point that you seem to think whoever we want we will get, without taking into account whether or not they actually want to come to this club.

Almost every post you make is written in a manner which makes it sound that you know something that others dont.

I think he signed for three years, which mens the end of next season. Regardless, due to his age, a transfer fee would be required.

Salary - £40k+
Player - Won't be quite as good as Briers and Monaghan for a couple of years
Current club - Will fight tooth and nail to keep him and all they have to do is say no and it's over

Salary - £200k
Player - Miles better than Briers and Monaghan right now
Current club - Haven't got a say in the matter
