Personally, dont know much about Daryl Goulding but I think Mathers is e. Gleeson's been a chocolate teapot for us so far this season but I'd rather him not leave for Wigan.

It just depends how much cash we have to give to Wigan on top of Gleeson , has that side of things been disclosed yet ?
Instead of losing Martin Gleeson, can`t we just make Wigan a straight cash offer of £1 million Nigerian dollars for Mathers and Goulding which should be a right tempter for them.

Well said gtmm Mathers was fine as a 17 year old on loan with us but has been poor with Wigan and wouldn't be worth the taxi fare

i was informed about the wigan offer to us re gleeson involving a swap deal with the two players from wigan you mention saturday morning but was told not to post it. apparently wigan want the deal happen asap.
Sticking point though are mathers is injured for 6 weeksish (do we want another injury prone full back??) though have heard that smith quite fancies goulding.
My opinion on gleeson is he has never shown any real interest in playing for us and should go on that basis alone.
