I think you are doing Thompson a disservice, he's a solid NRL-level backrower. He'll do just fine in Super League.

Well they would get first team chances because you've not got much money and there's also a salary cap. Wonder if they'd have got the chance 20/30 years ago? Platt, Offiah, Connolly, McGinty, Hanley, Gregory, Potter, Preston etc etc etc and that's before the foreign contingent - suggests not.

He's a tackling machine, and runs good lines given the right delivery- have to say Jordan Thompson is the better of the 2nd rowers in my opinion and everyone is up for grabs, quite a scramble for them to - how we finished out of the top 4 with a plethora of SL standard players is beyond me
