Persoannly i think Bennys had a cracker since he took over the goalkicking as well.

It is. Add Riley to that list aswell, 23 tries this season - brilliant. Louis gas been awesome aswell!

Anyone on the usual starting 1 - 17 could get it this year. Ive watched wire for 11 years and this is the best team ive seen by a long way.

My top 3 would be

Monaghan
Westwood
Morley

But i think we could pick loads as :

King has had his best year here
Riley has scored 23 tries
Harrison has improved alot since last season
Wood has been great this year

When you make a cup final and are 2nd(currently) in the league it usually means most of the team have had good seasons so will be hard to pick

Paul Wood has been awesome this year and its his best year i can remember for along time, Benny has also been impressive along with Mozza but last seasons Lance Todd Trophy winner gets my vote and what an achievment it would be if he got it again this season, How many players have achieved that ?

Going through the squad there are so many candidates....

Hicks, King, Atkins, Riley, Briers, Morley, Monaghan, Louis, Westwood, Harrison, Wood, Solomona - all would have good claims.

However, I would plump for Morley.

I think you have to ask yourself who would we miss the most.

Westwood although a loss would still have great cover, again with the centres and wings one out another one in. Higham has been great and clarke looks really sharp so although they are not as good as Monas they can do a more than capable job.
Myler is a great support player and brings another threat we have maybe lacked in previous seaons.

Arise Sir Lee, the irreplaceable difference he makes to the team is obvious although the fact he is always a stand out player actually masks how important he is because it's just expected.

Atkins has been brilliant!

Benny Westwood followed by Matt King and Paul Wood for me.

I don't think I could pick just one name. There have been several players who have been exceptional this year; Benny, Monas, Casper, Spider, Moz.....even Mathers has had a few cracking games.

I'm just glad that there are several names in the hat, rather than just having one player who has been better than everyone else. Shows the consistency within the squad and that they are all working as a team rather than 13 individuals.

Mongahan and King for me.

Both great in attack, but they are the best defensive players in Super League in their positons imho.

Wire_Yed not sure I buy the 'we won't miss Westwood' argument.

Yes there are players to come in, but no like for like replacement. He'd be badly missed.

Matt King

Matt King for me.

Louis Anderson gets a mention from me, vastly improved.

I'm with the above, when you look at his contribution in attack and defence it is pretty impressive for a centre/ wing.

Those were the 3 names that lept into my head, but I couldn't honestly say who would come out on top.

Most improved player though for me would be either LAnderson (it's amazing to think he's only 22) or Riley (not for his try scoring but for his improvement in defence - although he certainly knows how to get to the try line!)

However don't think any players have consistently underperformed this year.
