| They ran out of food before kick off, ran out of beer before half time, have the Wire fans had similar problems with new stadia, we seem to get problems at Leigh Sports village and Halton, i.e. all the gear and no idea?
p.s this is not aimed at the Wolves, always admired you lot, but more a comment on Stadium management nowadays, shocking, we dont seem to count as customers.

This happened when we played at home agaisnt York in the cup, they ran out of beer and food in the east stand becuase they had only catered on 1,000 people, its a joke, especially for such an event

| Heathcoats have never been the smartest when it comes to predicting demand. The chances of species wanting a few more pies when they're in the ground for potentially nine hours is quite high.

I suggest you contact Dave Hutchinson ( DaveHutchinson@warringtonwolves.com). This has happened to me before and others and needs sorting.

| Cheers guys, i felt sorry for the fans and the staff, they were very apologetic. I feel a letter coming on
Gotta treat these days different like some of you have said, people are potentially stuck in there for hours with no food or drink, the trend round grounds seems to be that a lot of clubs have poor caterers in.

| I was also disgusted with the ladies toilets in the bar behind the sticks,it was the bar that was being used for the RFL players families etc .We arrived before the start of the Keighley game and there were no paper hand towels or toilet rolls and the hand driers did not work either. Likewise no food left half way through the afternoon bit of a joke really will certainly be writinng to the RFL and the stadia people.
Thought it was a nice stadia but not as good as Leighs.

| We should buy some of the toilets you get on the first class of the new Emirates A380's. While we're at it, we should get an underground beer stream installed and a warehouse full of pies built on the Tesco car park.

Was it you who had the problem with Haribo, or had a problem with something and ended up getting Haribo?

| It is often the case that "the pies aren't ready yet" or "we have run out of coffee". Never heard that at Wigan or even Knowsley skip.
I hope that, if the crowds next season are greater than this, that somebody has told Heathcotes to get their act together.
Mind you, the queues for food and drink don't appear as long since they put their prices up. £1.50 for a small bottle of water - only 50p less than Wembley!

LOL. No it was running out of pies for a home game after 32 minutes. I think JWP suggested I should have got haribos instead!
Dave's always good in replying to emails but it looks like it is not sorted out and it needs it (assuming the above is correct)

| There is a real polar opposite with Heathcotes. The concourse side of things are pretty poor, but the service and quality in the hospitality side of things in the North and East Stand is pretty good.
I assume their General Manager oversees all things, which makes it even stranger.

I would say the hospitality scores 7/10 rather than top marks GDMM. It's OK. Wine list could do with improvement together with table service. But you get what you pay for I guess.
The concourse offering is abysmal at times.

| I attended the HJ yesterday and as always stood in the South Stand. We have gone for the last 2 years to the finals, this year was different, and I don't think I will go next year. During the first half of the last game I felt so uncomfortable that I asked the steward to move myself and my daughter to the East Stand which they kindly did, I felt it could have got out of hand. At half time I went down to the toilets, and never, have I seen the toilets at the HJ in such a state, I was also informed that the police had instructed the kiosks to be closed, due to the crowd behavior. I dread to think what would have happened if Barrow had lost. Cannot comment on other fans as we were not near them. This is only my opinion so will not get into a discussion with anyone. All I know was that last year we were in with Salford, Celtic and Oldham fans and had a great day.

| There was at least two arrests from the South stand yesterday, one of them being a streaker. Perhaps some of Barrows' 100k prize money [imay[/i go back to the RFL if there's a probe into their crowd.

I would say their fayre/service is of equal standing to that on offer at Old Trafford. Mass catering in a very specific time slot cannot be easy.

| Never had a problem at the HJ myself.
But at Boundary Park on Saturday, they ran out of pies BEFORE half-time, which I wasn't impressed by.

| It does make me laugh how there are 2 threads about the HJ at the moment. One supportingg/complementing saying how good of a stadium it is yet this current one is moaning about anything and everything there is to moan about.
The HJ is not perfect, no ground is. They all have their 'little' problems but it's a place some fans like to call home, even if they do run out of pies.
Imo, it's always been fine but that's just me.

I would suggest running out of food and drink before the final game at an RFL event is more than a little problem. Is it not reasonable that supporters can get a pie and a pint if they want one? Surely it makes commercial sense too for both income and to ensure we get the gig again next year?
The issue is that Heathcotes would rather sell out early rather than carry unsold stock and they clealry err too much on the side of caution in predicting demand. It appears that they do not suffer any consequence from running out either.
Mind you greasy spoon stalls at the side of A roads seem to manage...

| Do they just, like, predict aridiculously small crowd or something? Two (three?) games on in one day? I'd be cooking the pies myself if it was my company. Heathcoates must be alright for a few bob if they can afford to essentially turn away custom whilst still having staff 'clocked on'.
